Not to be like that but its still weird when you take someone learning somethijg beautifully fundamental like the suffering of others and say "oo its so white that u didnt know that" tell me youve never met a real person ever. I bet i could dig up you daying a slur at 10
a while ago i saw an anti-cnc meme that went something like "if your boyfriend learns not to stop at "no", do you really think he's gonna stop at Pineapple?" and ive been thinking about it a lot. like, it assumes that words have some kind of mystical meta-meaning that persists in all contexts, that if we discard the word "no" we also discard the concept of saying no in a symbolic sense. It's a lingually prescriptivist argument in disguise.
A new interview about Bridget happened and apparently her outfit was explicitly designed to relieve her dysphoria. I don't think I've ever heard of trans rep that went as far as considering what the character would be dysphoric about and how they would accommodate it. I'm impressed
