This is why it's so dangerous to elect religious nut jobs to political office. They have no grip on reality. Their whole world view is inspired by ancient fairy tales.

Even though it may be an open secret, it's always good when evidence like this comes to light. It helps those who are dubious or oblivious see what's going on and distinguish it from misinformation or conspiracy hogwash.

Hardly a secret. People at the BBC are told never to use the words Palestine and Genocide and Ethnic Cleansing and other terms. That has been known for a while.

These teenagers are doing a very difficult and admirable thing. Though their number is small, their cause is great. I hope their actions can inspire others to join them.
“Since the war began, I understood that I have an obligation to make my voice heard, and to call for an end to the cycle of violence.” These were the words of Ben Arad, an 18-year-old Israeli conscientious objector, shortly before he reported to the Israeli army’s recruitment center near Tel Aviv on April 1 and declared his refusal to enlist in mandatory military service, in protest of Israel’s bombardment of Gaza and the long-standing occupation.
Arad is the third Israeli teenager to publicly refuse the draft for political reasons since October 7, and was tried and sentenced to an initial 20 days in military prison. He follows Tal Mitnick, who has served 105 days in prison across three sentences, and Sofia Orr, who has served 40 days in prison across two sentences — neither of whom have yet been exempted from military service, meaning they may still be sentenced to further stints in prison.

Please join me in remembering the 10,000 Cherokee, Chickasaw, and Choctaw men, women and children who perished along the Trail of Tears. Thank you. 💔

A reminder that israels founding fathers literally weaponized mass rape against Palestinian women and girls and spread their stories to surrounding villages to make them "leave" (flee, intending to come back). My grandmother's left his village in 48 and again in a neighboring village in 67, until they were fully exiled from Palestine. But what do I know about the weaponization of rhetoric to make Palestinians seem like the bad guys?

These murderers are admitting they lied only after the damage has been done and is STILL ongoing, and I am beyond pissed.

➢ An important piece. — Here's an excerpt which includes the last few paprgraphs:
"Every @NBCNews exec who thought hiring a reputed liar & phony elector co-[conspirator] needs to resign or be fired,” says Jennifer Schulze, a media critic who was a Chicago Sun-Times executive producer, WGN news director, and adjunct college professor of journalism.
“The @NBCNews managers who recruited & signed an election denier should be out the door, too,” she adds. “Not only was it downright offensive to hire Ronna, it was journalistic AND corporate malpractice.”
Pointing to his newsletter, former Obama senior advisor Dan Pfeiffer writes, “NBC’s ill-fated decision to hire Ronna McDaniel is a story of a media outlet unwilling to accept the ways Trump changed politics, but it’s also one of the best arguments for Dems need to build our media ecosystem ASAP.”
He calls McDaniel’s hiring “evidence” the media has “yet to accept the reality that this is not a normal election between a Republican and a Democrat.” And adds, “An [industry] that prizes objectivity above all else, is incapable of accurately covering an election where one candidate is a normal politician and the other is an insurrectionist. Many in the media would rather stumble into autocracy than take a side.”
Veteran journalist and Sirius XM host Michelangelo Signorile observes, “We couldn’t have asked for a better situation to shine a bright light on the corruption of the corporate media—and its impulse to legitimize MAGA extremism and lawbreakers for profit—than NBC’s hiring former RNC chair, election denier, and Trump enabler Ronna McDaniel.”
And he warns, “The forces that made the coup-plotting former RNC chair a paid contributor are still shaping news and information about this pivotal election.”

Deregulation is a gift to abusers of rules. We legislated the regulations for reasons. Those reaasons saves lives. Saves the environment.
More money for abusers is violence.
Abusers calling regulations 'unnecessary' is violence.
