Koma finds it wise at this point to simply smile cheerily at the other’s little interjections. After all, it wasn’t their fault they were so charming!
“A pleasure, Fukuda-san, blood type O, Libra. I can’t be bothered with all that horoscope stuff, you know, but my birthday’s in August if that tells you anythin’. Ahuhu. Now, onto the real business-!”
They pause in their evil scheme to blink in confusion as Akihiko tries to rip their hand off.
“You’ve got, uh, quite a grip there, sugar! You play a sport? Pitchin’, that’s the one, right? Where you... throw the ball?”
Good try, buddy!
Akihiko tried so hard not to get flustered that his expression went the opposite way, squinting under the strain of keeping down a blush.
“S-sugar…”
He returned to the task at hand, trying not to be fooled by the devilish charm.
“Oh, nice to meet you. Akihiko Fukuda, blood type O, Libra. Don’t worry, I know where the cellotape is. I’ll assist you for such a valiant cause.”
The mangaka stared at Koma’s hand for a moment, internally screaming that he would actually be touching someone’s hand, touching someone cute’s hand. He took it and shook it almost violently in his silent panic.

“Oh, no. That’d be kinda mean, if they didn’t do anythin’ to me. Nah, there’s this nasty kid in my math class that keeps pesterin’ the teacher, so I wanna put ‘im in his place, yeah? Ohoho! You, though, you certainly sound like the kinda mastermind I’m lookin’ for. That prank needs two to make it work, doesn’t it? Excellent. Let’s do it. Koma Dori, at your service, yeah?”
With a cackle, Koma throws out their arm, dropping into a very dramatic bow before holding their hand out for Akihiko to shake.
“Yeah, you’re somethin’ awesome. I-I mean, we can think of something awesome.”
What the hell. All it took was seeing a flower in someone’s hair for Akihiko to find someone cute.
“In all honesty I haven’t pranked anyone before. It sounds fun, though. Who are you trying to prank? A stranger? You know, I’ve seen that prank on Vine where you put cellotape across the doorway so whoever walks in gets their face stuck to it.”
