I would like to request a one-shot where someone “better” than Klaus likes Y/N and she actually reciprocates the attention but Klaus goes out of his way to ruin and sabotage the budding relationship and has no good reason as to why he doesn’t like the guy. a/n: Decided to kind of merge these two prompts together, since I got the same vibes from them. Takes place pre-Playing with Fire.

It had happened, exactly what he’d wanted and feared — she’d found someone else.
He’d chanced upon them out on a date late one night, spying them through the window of the diner and his blood had gone cold. Was she laughing? At one of his jokes? Was that his hand on her arm? Who said he could be that close to her? Oh my God, was she actually gunna let him kiss her?
Tearing his eyes from the scene, Klaus whipped around, pressing his back to the wall outside and squeezed his eyes shut.
This was what he wanted, he told himself. She deserved so much better. So why did his blood boil at the thought?
Turning back around he let his gaze caress her. That smile, what he wouldn’t give for it to be turned on him once more.
He had to break this up.
This is what you wanted. You pushed her away. She deserves more than you.
Pushing those thoughts away, Klaus was already formulating a plan on how to get her back. He’d made up his mind. He wasn’t going to let this stand.

* Fun colors, funky art, random decor.
* But the two of you make it cozy and inviting as well
* Many nights are spent cuddles up on the cough, an abundance of snacks, and a show on that you both pick to binge together.
* In the morning you always find yourself spooning Klaus. Your arms wrapped around him, his fingers threaded through yours, your face buried in his shoulder.
* Most of the time you guys stay in bed for a little bit, just admiring each other and laughing about nothing... and also laughing about your guy’s horrible morning breath, which Klaus purposely blows in your face and you playfully smack him
* Always showering together because hey, it saves water, right?
* “Klaus why are your socks on the living room floor?”
* “My feet were hot!”
* Chilling in the house naked because you’re adults and you can 100% do that now that you have your own house

He’s definitely the kinda person to run up to cats in hopes it’ll be his new friend, but when it runs away he gets sooo sad and runs to you
Some nights he can’t sleep and he doesn’t want to bother you so he will just wait till you fall asleep and then just watch you
Not in a creepy way ofc but in a way where he’s trying to carve this memory into his brain in fear the world will end any second and this will be his last morning with you (bros got ptsd)
Even though Bens grateful you helps Klause with his addictions, it won’t stop him from making jokes about you guys and Klause being all over you
Jokes about how Klause wont shut up about how he misses you when your gone, how you alway give into what he wants, but just jokes mostly to keep himself entertained
But since he’s dead Klause doesn’t say anything
If you have little hobbies related to art in any way he would definitely give it a try but if it’s anything else he may just sit there while you do whatever it is you do
If you ever had past relationships he would want to know all about them, what their name is, why you dated, why you broke up, all that stuff
It’s not that he’s jealous or anything like that it’s just that he really wants to know all the drama and maybe learn what he can do better
One of his actual favorite dates is just sitting in bed together and watching any paranormal or crime show he can find
If your one of those people who talks through the whole episode of movie he wouldn’t be mad, if anything he would be happy, because it shows you actually have an interest and want to know more
If you don’t talk during the episode or movie he may be a little award because the silence intimidates him but as long as he can see your watching the show he’ll be ok
I really hope you like it and I’m sorry it took me a while to respond, I wasn’t feeling very good today. I feel like if I feel icky then I won’t be able to focus on the writing and it may be a little bad. But now that I feel better I think this is good.
