“What’s your name?” Kazuma asks. It’s the first thing he prompts every fan he brings on stage, and yet it’s not at all the same. This time he needs to know. It’s the most important thing in the universe that he finds out!
A shadow flickers across his soulmate’s face. One that fades as he watches Kazuma warily, staring into his eyes like he’s trying to uncover secrets there.
“Yusuke,” he croaks. “It’s Yusuke.”
“Yusuke,” Kazuma repeats, and it’s like he’s spoken the name a thousand times, like he’s known this fact all along despite being clueless mere moments ago. Yusuke. Yeah, Yusuke sounds right. It slots into place perfectly.
