I get so excited about local radio. Not-quite pure humanity, untouched by bland corporate standards or common sense regarding good taste.
I love and hate these people. My long drives are amazing and my life is pretty good.

I thought about Ray Liotta's weird mouth today. But when I came home and put the images I was thinking of side by side,
Well, that's sorta what I was thinking.

Sorry my posts haven't been as frequent or funny as usual. It's because I'm eating well, sleeping regularly, and exercising

I hate hate HATE all those 2edgy 4me theories about kids shows. Like Angelica dreaming up the rugrats, or the ed, edd, and eddy children being ghosts, or literally anything that takes a lighthearted and fun kids show and has to turn it into some tragic take of rape or murder or misinformed mental illness.
So you know what? From now on I’m gonna do the exact opposite. Every cool grim-dark show is now because of a bunch of children. To get us started:
Game of Thrones: A middle-school DnD campaign with the most angry, vindictive DM who has promised to kill everyone’s player characters (and their family) by the end.

I dislike Sgt. Hatred immensely. Season 4 stumbled and he was a significant factor. Jackson fucked up there.
Buuut I do often think about "I ATE A WHOLE LABRADOR RETRIEVER ONCE" when I'm listening to some guy brag. Like I'm screaming that in my head on repeat while the dude goes on and no one will ever know until the day I break down and yell it.

Theres a lot of little diners and shops around the outskirts of Chicago, many of which are about branding themselves with as many Chicago things as they can. Great!
But you know you're in a bad one if they have every Chicago thing you can think of minus any Blues Brothers memorabilia. The only ones here who don't appreciate the line "I hate Illinois nazis" are Illinois nazis.

I used to be really into Transformers, a comic series in particular, but cooled off and forgot about it for a while. I check in years later and apparently Alex Milne, one of my favorite official artists for that comic, has sold two volumes of pin-up zines at cons. This cover appears to be Megatron with a tramp stamp, and I see some lingerie in the previews.
How silly. I'm going be completely normal about this. I'm not checking ebay or anything. I'm not looking up con tickets. I'm fine.

Back in my day all you needed to be a cannibal was a chainsaw, blackout curtains, and a dream. Not like nowadays when everyone expects you to wear a ten thousand dollar Armani suit and deliver epic monologues about the nature of humanity. We made the best damn sausage and chili in the county and that's how we liked it. It's gettin' so you can't even afford abandoned houses in an isolated back road anymore, I tell you what. We shoulda known something was up the first time they started serving people with wine. Now look at us, they gentrified cannibalism is what happened.

oh nvm i can still write him okay 😈
Going through my old writing and realized most of it is from Michael's perspective. He's just easier to write for me - he's got a bunch of conflicting desires that's great for an inner monologue or symbolic gestures, and his actions can either be calculated to get what he wants or half-baked due to guilt over what he thinks he should want. Lots of options with him.
Trevor's got less of those unless he's in a depressive episode, which you can only write so many times. No duh the guy who wakes up naked in a cow pasture has mommy issues and wants to kill himself and others. He's more of a force of nature to me, which is loads of fun to inflict on other characters but kinda hard to work with on his own. Oh well, I'll have to practice!
