ZALEGŁE

SERVICE: Today I spent another day at the Centrum Pomocy Dzieciom. I had to rearrange catalogs by alphabetical order, as well as the files by dates. It was a lot of work, I spent on it around 4 hours, but I really enjoyed it and felt fulfilled once I was done. 

ZALEGŁE 

ACTIVITY: Today I went for a walk with Indy in Powsin park. It is always a great place for him to have fun, as there are many dogs/ friends for him to play with. I think that this picture is very funny. It shows how fast he runs when there are distractions around him. He got of course very tired after a while, but it was worth it, it was so much fun! Indy is the one on the left.

CREATIVITY: Today I went for a walk to take some pictures, as the weather was very nice, and Indy needed the activity. I have stumbled upon this old barn near to my house, on a street that I know very well. I don't know why, I have never quite looked at it closely, but now once I did, I noticed that I can take a picture of it with the method of sub-framing. I then changed the picture into black and white on my computer and I think that the results turned out to be very interesting.

ACTIVITY: My dad took me to his house near the lake, at the countryside Głęboczek. I always really enjoy going there, it is a very quiet place, great for thinking. We went down the hill with Indy for a walk and he went inside the lake for a swim. I would have went in myself but the water was very cold, maybe next time!

ZALEGŁE

CREATIVITY: Lately it has become quite a trend to put pictures on the wall of the room. I have decided to follow it, as it gives a lot of space for creativity. I have taken some fashion magazines, that I had at home, like Vogue or Bazaar, and cut of pictures that I found either interesting or aesthetic, that would compose well with the other ones. I chose them in different shapes and sizes, to make the effect even more captivating. I really like how the final effect is presenting and I’m hoping to do more projects like this in the future, during which I listen to my favourite music. 

5th June 2021 

SERVICE: Today was my first day at Centrum pomocy dzieciom. I spend about an hour there being told what my work will look like, and what I will have to do. Turns out that it will be mainly in the warehouse/basement, organising papers. I’m really looking forward to do this, as I love to organise.

ACTIVITY: Today was Indiana’s first trip by bus. I wasn’t planning on it, because he is usually very active and I wouldn’t be able to take him inside a public place. We had to do so however because I was meeting with a friend in Wilanów and I had to come back home somehow, as my mom could not pick me up. To my surprise Mr. Jones was very calm and did everything I asked him to. He acted like and angel I was really proud of him. We came back home safely, and now I know, I can travel with him by bus!

CREATIVITY: I have always been very fascinated with the polish slavic theme. I love the stories behind them, the myths and legends. As I love drawing faces, I have decided to draw one in the theme of the slavic culture, a women with flowers on her head. I really like how it turned out, however I think I should make it colourful to enhance the visual effect of the flowers.

SERVICE: Today’s lesson with Hania and Emma was very pleasant, as the weather was warm, and I got to sit outside during it. The work is always different on the fresh air, and the thinking is different. Like always, first talked a little bit about our week, then we read some texts, and finally, we played scribble. I’m really looking forward to more of these outdoor lessons.

ACTIVITY: Today I took my dog for a long walk. As it is warmer and warmer and there is much more for him to scent, he was very happy. I took him off the leash on the field , and he started running very fast until he was very tired. He even jumped a couple of times, while running toward some birds, as visible on the picture. Today was not a very hot day which made the walk very pleasant. After the walk we came home, and Indy went strait to sleep, he was very tired. I’m really looking forward to more of such walks!

CREATIVITY: Today was a very beautiful weather outside. I thought that the view outside of my window was worth capturing, so I took a picture of it. I really like how the earth tones of it play together. The different shades of green and brown, synchronise very well. After taking the picture I enhanced the colours of the pictures on my computer, to make them even more visible. I think that I am going to paint this.

SERVICE: Today I had another lesson with Hania and Emma. First, we talked about our holidays. It turns out that the girls have also visited another country for it. After that we read a little bit, I explained some words to the girls, and the finally we played scribble. I’m looking forward to the next meeting!

ACTIVITY: My friend Milena and I have decided to visit Cannes together for a couple of days, as there was a short holiday at the IB. Cannes is very beautiful. Although everything was closed due to the pandemic, we still had a lot to do. Every day we took long walks, near the see, admiring the large boats and the beautiful view. Today I went for a run in the morning, and to my positive surprise a market was open. It was very interesting to see the local products, as well as the routine in this city. The run was very nice, As today was a cloudy day and it wasn’t too hot.

CREATIVITY: Today my friend Julia was sleeping at my house. When we woke up we decided to to something fun and creative. I really love my art room, it’s very inspiring. Julia was arranging the markers and crayons, testing which ones are still good for use, and which ones are not. I however was drawing random things. The music that we were listening to made everything much more interesting. I’m looking forward to more meetings like this !

SERVICE: A couple of days ago I came back from my trip, and today I was able to contact with Emma and Hania for a lesson. My aunt is a school teacher and she has send me some materials a while ago that could help me with my polish teaching with the girls. Today the theme of the lesson was the universe, and so we talked about the cosmos, and even about the first creature on the moon, Łajka. It was very interesting to remind myself of this very sad story.
