i think this test could be improved by making it a shape puzzle where the champion has to fit the drought stone into the square hole

... Ah yes, Erudite's results from yesterday's April Fool's quiz have returned, and readers won with a close call at an average 15.02 points per quiz! With the minimum cut-off at 15, everyone was saved by the folks who put in extra effort with their essays about themes (given 2 points rather than the standard 1 for anyone who put anything other than "idk"), so be sure to give them a big kiss on the lips for their contribution. Per quiz poll, readers have won a sneak preview of Dungeons & Damages, which will be uploaded on its site here! A proper Tumblr mirror will follow when the remainder of the special episode releases after the conclusion of Chapter 9. Thanks to everyone who participated, and for everyone who shared their kind words and critiques!

(Erudite's quiz has concluded.)
Erudite: ... And with that, our time is up. Pencils down, everyone. Now, I understand that our journey was supposed to continue today? I apologize for intruding. I will see to it that the team's... momentary distraction will be erased as if it never happened. I will need some time to review the knowledge you all have imparted upon me... I will reveal how well you all did after doing so. Farewell 'til tomorrow, and be sure to rest well.
Rune: Wait, wait.
Erudite: ...? Is something the matter?
Rune: Nothing you're saying makes sense. What are the Thousand Arms?
Erudite: ... I think you're messing with me. I just looked through your memories a few moments ago, and someone already told you.
Rune: What? You're making things up. That literally never happened.
Erudite: ??? Were you even paying attention up to this point? This is your journey after all.
Rune: I dunno, none of this stuff seemed important. Like how Malachi glows at random, it's just something he does.
Malachi: Actually it's not random if you use context clues-
Rune: And besides, you're the pokemon of knowledge, and you didn't realize we weren't here to steal the Time Gear.
Erudite: I don't think knowledge is the same thing as omnipotence. Besides, if you could use a magic archival search system to look up any knowledge in the world, would you?
Malachi: I would! And the first thing I'd look up is rudimentary typing.
Rune: That's the one that gives you a second type, right?
Erudite: ... At this rate, I feel like strangers would know your journey better than you do...
Rune: Huh?? What's that supposed to mean?
Erudite: I can feel them here, watching this conversation. And, to speak to them for a moment, I have a gambit for you. I am a being of scholarly insight, so let's trade knowledge for knowledge. If those of you observing us can answer a few questions about Team Maelstrom's journey thus far with a fair amount of accuracy, I will trade my own knowledge in turn. Perhaps a look into the team's downtime? Or perhaps a peek into a new world entirely? The choice will be yours... if you all do well enough, that is. If many of you struggle, do not fear. This glimpse into other stories will return in due time, just consider this incentive. Peer below for more insight.

yeah yeah uxie's form springs back up after death, but it DIDN'T spring back up from when I accidentally knocked it out when I played my copy of diamond as a kid and I forgot to save before the battle >:( (i thought it would be a roaming legendary like mesprit)
... And with that, the Monster House Marathon's daily updates are over! We'll now be returning to the regularly scheduled M/W/F updates. Which start tomorrow. So it won't feel like the daily updates have ended until after that lol
