Islam taught me that struggling for the sake of Allah does not equate to suffering, but there is in fact, sweetness in that struggle. Because once you've overcome that difficulty with His Help, the taste of triumph is amazing and it will be well worth it especially for the hope of His reward in akhirah.
Struggles for the sake of Allah mature you, strengthen your heart, increase your taqwa/tawakkul and definitely make the worship much beautiful.
Whatever you do in worshipping Allah, you enjoy it so much that you don’t feel you are actually doing anything (struggling). If you have no patience, the results of that would be only deep regret, sadnes and sorrow whereas after patience you feel much relieved and happy that you would have felt if you didn't made patience.
