Haynes 188 Sheet Suppliers in India
HAYNES 188 Sheets is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy that may be readily fabricated for aerospace and commercial gas turbine engine applications, including combustion cans, flame holders, liners, transition ducts, and afterburner parts. HAYNES 188 Coils is generally found in hot sections of engines in burner cans, ducting and afterburner components. In recent years, Udimet 188 Coils has been eclipsed by Alloy 230 for many applications due to improved properties. Udimet 188 Plates has good forming characteristics and is capable of being forged, hot worked or cold worked, although it does work-harden very rapidly so frequent intermediate annealing treatments are recommend for complex forming operations. There are several commercial names for Haynes 188 alloy, including Conicro 4023, Udimet 188, and Alloy 188. Combustion cans, flame holders, liners, transition ducts, and afterburner pieces are among the parts that can be easily made from Haynes 188, an alloy consisting of cobalt, nickel, chromium, and tungsten, for industrial and aerospace gas turbine engines. exceptional resistance to oxidizing conditions up to 2000°F (1095°C) and exceptional high-temperature strength are also combined in the Haynes 188 alloy.
Better resistance to molten chloride salts and resistance to gaseous sulfidation are two further benefits.

The solid solution-strengthened HAYNES 188 Alloy material has good room temperature tabricability together with exceptional high temperature strength. When used for extended periods of time at temperatures of 1200°F (650°C) or above, it works especially well. It is significantly stronger than basic nickel-chromium or iron-nickel-chromium heat-resistant alloys, as well as stronger than nickel-base solid-solution strengthened alloys.
When this is used in place of these, it can allow for a significant reduction in section thickness.
The following parameters apply to Haynes 188:
UNS R30188
Forging Stock, Rod, Bar, and Wire: AMS 5772
AMS 5608 for Plate, Sheet, and Strip
Wire for welding: AMS 5801

2.4683Sheet
2.4683 / Alloy 188 / Haynes 188 is a cobalt-nickel-chromium-tungsten alloy with excellent resistance to oxidizing environments up to 1095 ° C with excellent high temperature resistance for long-term use and excellent resistance to hot corrosion of sulphate deposit. It is easily manufactured with conventional techniques. Other important properties include excellent resistance to molten chloride salts and good resistance to gaseous sulfidation. Also called UNS R30188, this cobalt-based superalloy has good forming and welding properties. As a result of its good ductility, the material 2.4683 / Alloy 188 / Haynes 188 is also easily formed by cold working. The alloy hardens by machining quickly, so frequent intermediate annealing operations may be required for complex component forming processes. All hot or cold worked parts must be annealed and rapidly cooled to achieve balance. The alloy can be welded by both manual and automatic welding methods. 2.4683 / Alloy 188 / Haynes 188 is normally solution heat treated at 1163-1191 ° C and rapidly cooled or water quenched for optimum properties. Annealing at temperatures lower than the solution heat treatment temperature will produce some carbide precipitation that can affect the properties of the material.
