YOU WANNA KNOW something I find jarring?
Yes, Fexi's dynamic and on screen portrayal is very tentative and almost nerve wracking in its uncertainty at points. It seems that a lot of people have taken from it that either they're just friends with each other or that Lexi has a crush on Fez which is not reciprocated. Can I just ask then if this is true, how in fuck's cunt he:
Pretends he doesn't know her name so he can talk to her at new years, showers her with compliments, can't stop looking at her and is absolutely delighted about how she reacts to his comments:
Immediately shows utter disdain for how much she criticizes and doubts herself (I can't fucking find the gif for this):
Forgets how to talk when he sees her at his store, is absolutely elated that she is there, can't take his fucking eyes off her and tries everything he can to keep talking to her:
Talks to her on the phone every fucking day for months whilst heavily insinuating that the way he likes to get to know a girl is in fact exactly how he is vibing with Lexi:
Forgets how to fucking breathe at the prospect of holding her hand and smiles at her the whole time like she's hung the fucking moon:
Not so subtly aligns their future plans with each other and has the softest, sweetest voice and look on his face when discussing it with her:
Wears a fucking suit to see her play which is being shown *for free* at her high school auditorium where there is absolutely no dress code:
Spends hours preparing including going out and buying flowers, acquiring said suit and writing Lexi a fucking letter:
She and the future he could have had with her is the first thing he thinks about after he realises he has to take the blame to spare Ash:
In conclusion, anyone who doesn't agree that Fez has caught strong feelings for Lexi is worse than a climate change denier. Peace.

Thinking of you and the rest of the people who were apart of the fexi fandom last year during this time. I’m thankful for all the memories made that we can look back on for happier times when we need it. Take care of yourself and you have people here if you need it ❤️🩹
Thank you for this lovely message. This has been heartbreaking but I'm so grateful for the experience I've had here, and very comforted by the way people have rallied around one another.
A few more thoughts below, but I want to hide under the fold in case anyone feels tapped out and needs a break from sad content.
Last night I was thinking about the video and photoshoot that Instyle did with Angus Cloud last Spring. It is easily my favorite piece of content. He seems so jovial, and they did a great job of capturing the positive vibes on that set. You get the sense that everyone was having a great time with him. (Contextual cues hint that this was filmed the day after Episode 6 aired.) He was funny and authentic and insightful, and his answer to the question "What's the craziest thing you've ever done for love?" will always seize my heart.
There's another question I just remembered from that interview. (TW: discussion of death.) They asked him, "Where do you think we go when we die?" Angus emphatically responded, with a smile and laugh, "Who knows that?" He continued, "Your soul? I don't know. Who knows - maybe nowhere, maybe the coolest place we can't even imagine. That's what I hope for."
In this moment when it feels so wrong to lose someone so young, who was special to so many people, the thought that Angus's spirit is somewhere out there, in the coolest place we can't even imagine, gives me comfort. I hope that's where he is.
We've all been feeling a whole range of emotions, and I know it's easy to feel strange about such grief over someone we didn't know personally. But the energy and spirit of this individual touched a lot of people, even through a screen. If we were able to feel that connection, maybe, just maybe, the love and appreciation and care we feel right now can somehow make their way to his family, his friends, the cast and crews who worked with him, and to each other. Maybe even to him. I really hope so.

I'm enraged because he deserved better. His life didn't have to end at this point, like this. His light and presence didn't have to be stolen from this earth like this. For better or worse, this man has made our lives here for two long years. He brought us closer together, he made us laugh, swoon, write romance and daydream. Now, instead, all that is left is a hollow feeling and heartbreak. I'm not ready yet to say "rest in peace Angus" because Angus, you shouldn't be resting any fucking where, you should be doing what you always do, bring this world a little more joy. Take care everyone, because these are some very ugly news we ran in today. A hug to everyone, and to Angus' family.

I’ve seen way too many people on Twitter saying “Oh no, what is Rue gonna do now that Fez is gone? What about Lexi? Fexi’s relationship? We’ll never get a season 3 now!” and even making jokes. And that is just… Insane.
It hasn’t even been a day since his passing was confirmed and THAT is all some of y’all care about?! I mean yeah, he played the character, so your mind can’t help but go there for a second, but can we not make a real persons death about FICTIONAL CHARACTERS OR A SHOW GETTING A NEW SEASON?! At least give it a couple days before y’all start being weird!
I can only imagine how bad it is on TikTok, cuz those mfs are even worse than Twitter… Anyways.
Rest in peace, Angus Cloud. Thank you for sharing your talent, energy, jokes, and iconic fashion sense with the rest of the world. You will be missed.

I really cannot wrap my head around Angus’s passing it feels unreal but like I’m truly devastated for his family and friends.
Without Fez I wouldn’t have started writing fic again and discovered my love of writing again and met so many wonderful people from posting on here. He had an impact on my life even if it was only tangentially through a role in a show, but I am grateful for him and I know I’m not the only one to feel this way. I really really wish things were different for him.

I just saw Barbie again with my mom and sister and noticed something:
A little snippet, a soft whisper of What Was I Made For? plays when Barbie is on the bus bench with the old lady telling her she’s beautiful; I could hear the piano and Billie’s soft humming melody there, and then I think it happens again when Gloria is about to speak her monologue, right before when she tells Barbie she’s so beautiful.
The song plays when women are helping other women.
