It make take a bit for me submit though, since I'll have to do some image editing and a fair bit of writing. I may end up just sending some propaganda as an ask later to provide additional context instead of a lengthy description in the form, because it is easier to explain some worldbuilding concepts with multiple separate screenshots.

I just wanted to say as an aromantic thank you for this tournament! There’s a lot of fictional friendships that just never get enough love

Hope you don't forget to submit in the morning lol ← has happened to me

And yeah! I'm also aromantic, and while I am an avid romance shipper, I just really really want platonic relationships to get more love because they rarely ever do

For now, I'll say yes, just to fill up response slots (currently at 19/32(?) as of answering this ask). If anything, I can always do a couple pre-polls to narrow things down

Okay wait - I know you said no dsmp, but are other minecraft servers cool? Like if I submitted something from 3rd life smp would that be considered for the tournament or would it be an automatic no?

What the heck are hp and dsmp? And why are you excluding them?

Hp is Harry potter, and dsmp is dream smp

Hp I'm excluding for obvious reasons (for all the things the author is and has done), and while idk much about dsmp and the whole situation ik it's very controversial and I just decided I dont want to deal with it

I won't be excluding every media considered controversial or "problematic" or if the creator has done something because that's just ridiculous but these two are just really popular and I'm not dealing with them

Hi! Would you be willing to turn off the setting on the google form submission that requires us to be logged in to our gmail to submit?

From what it looks like, you have to be signed in in order to submit images. So sorry, I cant take that setting off. If it helps, I'm not able to see email addresses

If a single picture from the moment isn't enough to represent everything, you're fully allowed to stitch multiple pics together, as long as it's all 1 file

(The pics are what go up for the poll, so do try having it condensed as much as possible for visibility)

In this bracket we'll be voting for the best platonic moment (which can be different compared to best platonic relationship)

Submissions open until Sunday, August 6th, 6pm EST

Either 32 or 64 submissions will make it into the poll, depending on responses and my mood

Submission rules:

- submissions happen in this google form

- platonic, in this case, will be referring to dynamic that does not end up as romantic, nor is familial (friends, found family, those all work)

- 1 moment per submission

- image of submission required (if in format such as a podcast, provide a screenshot of the transcript you want to display)

- one submission slot will be reserved for my own submission (Jung Heewon & Kim Dokja, Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, "that man is the world I wish to save")

- Very possible that only 1 per fandom will make it into the poll, will decide later
