Tähti Hair

This is my first ever hair I have made! I got inspired to make this hair after seeing this on Tiktok and Pinterest. I can't remember who they were but if I figure out I'll let you know lol. I named it Tähti hair because Tähti means star in finnish.. maybe a little on the nose but whatever.

so, preset number 2! this one is named after the best venetian snares album (no you cannot argue with me </3)

the game will probably freeze once you turn this preset on for the first time - this is NORMAL, its just super heavy

the download includes the actual preset file + the required shaders for it to work! drop the shaders folder into your gshade-shaders folder, or else the preset will look weird

made for gshade once again! tutorial on how to get it

somehow even heavier than synthetica! please dont have it on for too long, and definitely dont use it for gameplay

numpad 6 is the toggle for neobloom. i highly recommend turning this off while taking photos in the dark, otherwise itll brighten up the picture too much

f7 is the toggle to switch between s-video and vhs-m; s-video emulates low-quality video, while vhs-m emulates clean, artifact free output of vhs. here's a comparison between the two (s-video on the left, vhs-m on the right):

there are, once again, a bunch of other toggles! PLEASE, PLEASE MESS AROUND WITH THEM!! theyll change up the look of the preset a LOT

i dont fuckin know how to format tumblr posts, bear with me;;

soo, preset! i think its nice :] i was inspired by my favorite metric album; wanted to go for something warm and nostalgic - i think i did a good job!

made for gshade. i followed @/veone's tutorial on how to download and use it after the whole malware fiasco; altho it works just fine on reshade if you get the required textures and shaders :D

toggle keys for ssr, volumetric fog, dof, comic outlines, 4:3 aspect ratio border to crop your screens and lens dirt overlay! its very hands on;;

definitely not suitable for gameplay. in fact im sure itll fry your gpu, do not recommend having this guy on for too long lmao

i also use the following lighting mods - no blu (darkest), into the light, shadows for days, sunblind, graphics rules overhaul

SOLUTIONS! CAUSE WE’RE ALL TIRED!

So today @isjao asked me if I could post a blender file containing a basic streak mesh to make everybody’s job easier, so I thought: “why not” and decided I would post a whole zip file instead, containing the mesh + all my base textures I use when I have no patience to scroll the whole sims4studio catalog looking for the perfect texture.

The .zip file contains:

The streak mesh (modifier on);

My hand-painted base texture (EA dirty blonde, 13th swatch);

The other 23 EA swatches (if you like my version. If you have your own actions, you can recolor the base again);

My 40 PuppyCrow swatches;

A hand-painted scalp texture, if you want it. (png and dds);

Bump map and Specular map ready to go!

A text file for troubleshooting and TOU.
