I feel like no one's mentioned this yet but Joel seems to be really good at turning himself into not the but of the joke
Like at the start of the neck kisses bit, everyone was just making fun of Joel's slip up and him insisting "I don't kiss people's necks"
But by the end of the stream everyone was groaning when he made the joke and now he's signing books with "neck kisses"
Now with the Etho's obsessed bit, somehow all the hermits are actually making fun of Etho over Joel for being obsessed, even though Joe started this two years ago by wearing Etho's face on his chest

favorite is such a strong word but.... i'll go for it! trying to avoid recency bias on this one
stop me if you've heard this all before - an empires smp au in which s2 sausage finds the remains of the prison dimension his other half was trapped in, which still contains one of his old friends. i promise chapter two WILL be coming when school stops beating me into the ground.
bring out all the ghosts to life - blaseball/hermitcraft&evos au where pearl, jimmy, and netty are precog trio. this one is also not finished but it WILL BE because i literally have another chapter done already and also i care about these three so much. it will just take awhile because of the aforementioned school beating me to the ground.
the heart knows nothing of your love or of your loss - written in the aftermath of moses mason's incineration just over three years ago now (happy late anniversary!) about lenny spruce and grief and anger. man i love lenny spruce i should finish that draft i have about her.
it's not something that you put to bed - apart of my three part crossover between my friends and i's personal server, perpetuity smp, and secret life. frankly i could've gone for any of the fics in this series but this one is about jimmy's ghost session and his ghost guardian who i had picked out for him A WEEK BEFORE HE ALSO BECAME A GHOST and frankly this one has an extra special place solely for that dodgeball.
men are fools, oh, men are frail - post limited life scene between martyn and the watchers. no one should've ever let me watch evos because it made me worse about the watchers and it shall never be rectified. i LOVE writing about the watchers and i love writing about their relationship with martyn and someone told me in the comments of this fic that i had a good martyn voice in this one and i will literally think about that forever. so. you get it.

AITA for disappearing after my wife threw a tantrum?
My wife (beast) and I (also beast) own a hut in a secluded region of a mountain range near our city. It snows all the time, and the place is generally miserable, but we were able to make it our home.
Now, I love him and he loves me too, but yesterday he ran off because of some mental health reasons I don't want to discuss in a Reddit post, but the gist is that I was really worried she wouldn't come back. My anxiety kicked in because there's a whole world out there that wants her dead. It would also probably be too much for this, but he tried to organize a public event once and it didn't pan out that well (let's just say, someone got a very heavy injury).
Either way, luckily he did come back in the night after, and even if it was like 2 am I didn't care. I just wanted to see them again. I just wanted to see them one last time.
At first, it all went well, I put on some relaxing kalimba music and we stood there, not saying a word, in each other's arms. Then however, for some reason, she started rambling about having died yesterday? They specifically kept repeating that I died, that this couldn't be real, that they were the reason of my death. Also I noticed that she kept staring at the moon a lot, like, a not normal amount? I think I heard her mumble something about the moon not moving before she stormed off into the night again, trying to show me something.
Now, as any responsible adult would, I decided to call our local hospital before realizing that there's no connection where our hut is. Logically the next step was to go downtown to call someone but now I feel kinda bad. What if she came back and didn't find me? I keep haunting her delusions (me dying etc.) so that could've made the whole situation worse, now that I think about it. What if she was right?
What if all this isn't real?

Lastly, "I lit the match with the flick of the cleat from the league that hexed me" is written under a sketch of Jimmy and fWhip in the forge. Fish swim in the reactor behind them. Jimmy is wearing the Codboy hat. fWhip is smiling and saying something to Jimmy, about to pull the lever that starts the explosion. /end ids.]
