tv show concept: a human buys an old house already owned by a vampire. since the vampire is dead, they cannot hold a lease, however any eviction notice also isn't legally binding, so they have no choice but to live together, and both spend all their spare time trying to make each other's lives as annoying and miserable as possible in an attempt to force the other person to leave

Whumptober Day 7- Isolation
Simon:
I take the chart off the door, look at the name and take a deep, calming breath.
Mr. Pitch.
I let out my breath and hang my head in defeat. He’s back.
Basilton Pitch was one of my most difficult clients. Entitled, demanding, questioning every recommendation I made. I admit it, I was relieved when I put his ancient Doberman to sleep two years ago. Bit morbid, I know, but it is one way to get rid of a client. He seemed like the type that would never get another dog, “can’t go through that pain again” and whatnot.

the parallels between chapter 61 in carry on and chapter 41 in wayward son: the pov’s switching, how intense it was, how uncertain they were, but in a total different way.
in carry on it was new, it was scary, they acted out of impulse, but also charged with desire, from but of them, but also in way trying to help each other, and they did.
in wayward son it was also scary, but a careful scary, it was attentive, delicate, it was them trying to reach out to each other without knowing how the other would react, but it was also them helping each other, trying to fix themselves and regain that same feeling they had once felt.
