Confessions of a geek - I love researching the origins of words. So imagine my gasp of delight when I came across this site.
Mysteries of the Vernacular takes you through a journey of discovery to the etymological source of words through beautifully quirky stop animation. Amazing.

I adore this little embroidered love note from Cornflower Blue Studio
Amazing poem. Super special memories.
I carry your heart - e. e. cummings
i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)
i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

A life lived noir
I absolutely love the theatrical narratives of Ilse Leender's photography. Suspicious movements is noir and a little playful, amazing.

Ah summer, you may be hiding the sun but that's not going to stop me cranking up the sunshine vibes.
In the Gutter is the title track of Low Line Relay's first EP and delivers atmospheric wooziness and awesome sound structures.

It's a Family Affair
This I love. Evoking lazy hazy summer vibes with dreamy prints and cool and floaty shapes, Family Affairs have got this summer's look sorted. Lovely.

Shadows
Stumbled across Mariell Amelie's photography the other day and oh my days, did I ever fall in love with her work. Take Shadows for instance:
So playfully shot, like a noir version of Alice in Wonderland starring a grown up Alice who's fully embraced the darker and more decadent side of life.
A re-working of Hitchcock's The Birds? Perhaps.
Sinister shadow birds and Tippi with some serious attitude.
Pierrot the clown with sass and a kick-azz bowtie.
