ok so you know how sometimes when people get organ transplants they sometimes get characteristics of the people that gave them the organ? like a man suddenly growing a love for music because his donor was a musician, WITHOUT knowing they were a musician prior to the change, what if something similar had happened to Dio? it took over 30 years for him to take full control over Jonathan's body, what if in that time he got to feel more human than he ever did? he saw a dog walking down the sidewalk and got an urge to pet it? what if he could feel all the pain he cause him and still, at the same time, all the LOVE Jonathan had for him?
would it make him furious, that despite him doing his best to make his life miserable, being nothing but cruel and cold all their childhood and later killing his father in cold blood, Jonathan STILL loved him? i saw an au where Dio does take control over Jonathan's body early on, but his Joestar genes are so much stronger than him that it makes his hair turn black. a reminder that he was stronger than him, more resilient, and a sure-fire way of making sure Dio never forgets that. i need to lie down.

so latin america specifically puerto rico should have a bunch of mythology and cryptids in theory?? cuz no matter where i look the only "ghost stories" i can find from here are the phew haunted places in San Juan with backstorys that date back to the spaniards, El pozo de Jacinto, el cuco and el silb贸n are basically the same thing and i dont count them cuz every culture everywhere seems to have their own version of "the boogeyman" and el Chupacabra (yea the legend originated in the island not in mexico, a phew years ago there where even news reports of it but people started calling it la gargola and ig it's its own thing now, and La Llorona is kind of from all places in latin america ig but mostly mexico?) there's also Luz Mala, the demon baby in corozal and the yacumama isn't even from latin america so whats the deal WHERE are the ghost stories and monsters and cryptids this handful is not nearly enough im starving for more latino ghost stories

Characters who have dual personalities are the freaking best. On one hand, he's a ruthless psycho with a penchant for walking the line but never crossing it. On the other, he's the darling of the universe with heroes and civilians feeling possessive, proud, and awed by him.
To the good, he's know as the Savior and the Light. To the bad, he's the stuff of their nightmares and hated obsessions.
A man who can wield his personality like a double edged sword is a man who can't be defeated.
