Limited Battle | Seliph & Deirdre
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I wouldn’t say this was a very well put together team but I did my best and they cleared Infernal so I’d call that a good day. Hector was having a hard time tanking the mages so, as one does, I brought in Lyn and let her snipe out Deirdre. Farina rescued her and then things went relatively smoothly from there. I definitely couldn’t approach it from the top of the map because of that archer and red mage hanging out up there. I really should’ve given them more seals or something but I’m so lazy asldkjas

Rokkr Sieges | Ike & Ike
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rokkr Sieges is back and so am I!! So I have the usual Guard/Noontime/Breath of Life/Dancer Hell set up, but this time idky but I tried Keaton first and I was like huh why is this not getting me my 150k??? I had Olwen laying around, plus a copy of her, so I just....slapped the usual on her and went with it. They got 150 against both Ikes and things worked out. Not really much of a strategy I guess lol But it’s nice to know that even older units like Olwen can stand up in these fights
Limited Hero battles are back too so I’m sure I’ll post those as well soon

Rokkr Sieges | Mila & Duma
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was worried about completing this for a few rounds because I wasn’t getting the results with Knight Chrom and Lucina and I just couldn’t figure it out. I actually got my first 150k on Duma with Frederick by using his refine axe, which is death blow 3 + armor effective, which is literally the only time I’ve used that weapon cause my Frederick builds are EP based.
And then I remembered Naga grants dragon effectiveness. So I whipped out lynja and let her take care of it. And hey! it worked! I couldn’t get advanced but I cleared 150k with both Mila and Duma and that’s all that matters.

Rokkr Sieges | Laevatein & Bruno
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok, this took a bit of optimizing and shuffling around my units/skills. I tried with ninja Laevatein first, for that sweet sweet quad attack, but she fell short a couple thousand. I switched to Micaiah for the cav effective bonus (and briefly tried Azura with Ridersbane but it did not work) and Micaiah is who ended up pulling through for me.
At first I was only able to get the 150k on intermediate with the rokkr hitting Micaiah on the end enemy phase turn, but through a combination of boxing the rokkr into a corner spot (herded there by carefully positioning Xander or Peony) and cutting them off with Peony and Azura, I was able to get the 200,000 damage on Advanced mode. Actually, it felt a bit easier in Advanced as I think I finished a turn early, but I had to be careful with poor Xander and his low res/spd (that 2018 seasonal mood) and also occasionally taking time to snipe problematic enemies.

Weapon: Unbound Blade+ (+Res) Assist: Rally Up Atk+ Special: Ruptured Sky A Skill: Distant Counter B Skill: Spurn 3 C Skill: Threaten Atk/Def 3 Sacred Seal: N/A Asset: N/A
I was hoping for something a little different for her C slot (I really like the Menace skills, or Time’s Pulse would’ve been good too) but I don’t mind what I got either. Mareeta is a unit I didn’t have and honestly I’ve just been using HoF to grab those units. I didn’t wanna waste orbs haha I’ll replace her sword with her regular one but otherwise I’m happy! I think she can still perform well in PvE with this build and tbh I don’t venture much into PvP anyway.

Rokkr Sieges | Hawkeye & Dorcas
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I was surprised how well this turned out this time! They cleared both enemies on the advanced level at 200,000 damage. Guard is the most useful, along with Ishtar’s Breath of Life Seal and her Air Orders. It allowed me to get Olivia into position easier as I found the most optimal position to have Phina and Olivia blocking off Dorcas/Hawkeye, Ishtar catty corner (ideally on a fortress spot), and Lene bringing up the rear as she had the lowest Def. Sometimes I needed to divert them to take out powerful foes, like Phina take out an armored blue, or Lene taking out a blue mage, but overall they all performed really well.
I’m gonna optimize up their skills a bit with some help from Forging Bonds (just slap a matching blessing and they can get up to 24SP on the lowest FB level per kill) but, like I said, they were able to handle things just like this. I forgot how much I enjoy this mode.

Limited Battle | Jeorge & Gordin
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
OK honestly, as soon as I saw this was with Awakening units, I stopped caring too much because Frederick is my main unit, the most built of any of my units, and I have others that I use often. Frederick and Knight Chrom are actually S-supported. I threw in legendary Chrom cause he’s good and by that point I couldn’t not put Frederick with three Chroms. So here he is, single-handedly protecting his lords from all because he pretty much solo’d the map aside from an assist or two from knight Chrom and legendary Chrom.

Limited Battle | Flame Emperor: Bringer of War
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I recently pulled excess ninja Laevatein so my man Duessel got Distant Ward. It was pretty helpful in this infernal battle, even though the odds were stacked against him. The others were more or less already built as I use them fairly frequently. Innes is, of course, new, but I just slapped his B and Assist skill on him and called it a day. I see people talking about him but I don’t really know what to do with him yet.
At first I kept going left or trying to pull the mages to Duessel and take them out, but it ended up really helping to go right with him instead. He took out like 3-4 units in a row and I had to double check that I was on the infernal map. Then I played chicken with Emperor and lance knight around the wall for a bit and Lyon, bless him, took out the emperor. Eirika provided support mostly but she was able to step in and tank hits too (because Duessel could not tank the emperor at all). Innes did snipey things.

Limited Battle | Morgan & Morgan
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
OK I was not fond of the BHB M&M infernal map because of the air orders and mages and such, also my lack of Archanea units lol but! I had recently randomly pulled Harmonized Tiki on some banner and my fallen Tiki is old. I had shelved her for a while and didn’t really use her much. I also had to build up Marth. Jeorge is a unit I’ve actually used since launch and he was a staple on my early teams. I miss him so I took this as a chance to brush him up again. However, as you can probably see, I didn’t get to get his and Marth’s A skills up all the way.
Overall, it took some careful positioning and really just hoping. What I found really funny though is that one of the stipulations for this map is no dance/sing but Harmonized Tiki’s skill grants another action! I actually got to use it too. So if you have her, maybe make use of that because it really saved me.

Limited Battle | Heath: Wandering Knight
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s been a while since I’ve done these! Since the limited hero runs are back and I feel up to it, I’m going through my teams. First up is vs. Infernal Heath
This one wasn’t too terribly bad. I mostly had Greil and Ike defending, Rhys occasionally tanking and occasionally healing. Micaiah took some hits but mostly sniped hits and then was brought back behind dad and son duo lol I didn’t really shore up much as I use Greil and Rhys a bit, and Ike is pretty fine as he is (especially with his new stuff) and about all I did for Micaiah was slap a Distant Def Seal on her.

Another Limited Battle that I just don’t have a lot of units for! I’ve never played these games tbh but I’m like....creeping on the story all the time. I really love it. And I’m super in love with Brigid (and that pirate banner in general) so I pulled on it a bit when it was on and got lucky with two Brigids.
Anyway! This time it actually involved a lot of thinking on the best set ups for each unit as I don’t actually use them that much, and Eldigan had to be bought with greils and leveled up because I missed the masquerade banner and TT (I’m very sad about this). The overall strategy wasn’t that hard tbh so I’m mostly posting this because I’m proud of the quick builds I threw on them. Still, I don’t think Reinhardt unmerged benefited from desperation haha I have some other copies of Lewyn but I’m hoarding them for fodder and didn’t feel the need to use them. Eldigan I might actually build up more, I realllly love his art.
Also, I’m so glad Forging Bonds is going on cause I mined that beginner level for SP soooo much

Infernal Micaiah and Sothe with Blazing Blade Limited Battles was way harder for me than Rutger with Awakening. Like, I honestly wasn’t sure if I was going to clear this map because I don’t have a lot of Blazing Blade units and had to go through a few different teams before I got one that started working. My initial runs included Winter Jaffar, Linus (who’s decently built actually), and my Legendary Eliwood. What sucks is that it’s water/earth season every Legendary I have for Blazing Blade is fire or wind!
In the end, I didn’t even have full kits on most of them (I just realized I forgot to give Lyn a seal, oh well) and had to slap on some seals to help. The first hit was easy though. Eliwood rallied Nino, who used Aerobatics to get in front of Hector at the middle choke point, killed the first lance soldier, and then Hector pulled her back. From there, it was a lot of back pedaling with my units. At the end, Lyn (bless her) tanked the hit from the red mage, which split them up so I could deal with last red soldier, Micaiah, and red mage all separately. TBH tho, I have always hated this BHB! lol

A little late but here’s the team I used for Infernal BHB Hubert & Bernadetta. As you may have guessed, it involves buffing Dimitri a lot and then letting him do the work by choking the right side of the map. I switched out Peony’s usual Spd Opening C Skill for Fortify Res 4. I think it was mostly her and Lucina that saved the day, but having pretty fairy Eirika there for support is nice. She did also finish off that green archer tho.
To be honest, I forgot about this map and had to do it last minute haha

Weapon: Flower of Joy  Assist: Gentle Dream Special: Moonbow A Skill: Swift Sparrow 3 B Skill: Aerobatics 3 C Skill: Spd Opening 3 Sacred Seal: Chill Spd 3 Asset: +Spd
My first 5* exclusive +10 (and now +10 dragonflowers) Mythic Hero Peony! I absolutely love her design and everything about her.
Due to rising Spd powercreep, I mainly geared her toward being a spd buff/debuff with the use of Spd Opening and Chill Spd. Plus, she’s fun to maneuver around the field with Aerobatics, buffing allies and granting extra turns. For her C Skill, I do switch to Fortify Res 4 if I need the extra Res boost, but overall I prefer giving my units more spd. Which also pairs nicely with her mythic effect for light-blessed heroes. Though I’m not utilizing that very well as I was still trying to finish Blessed Garden maps so she’s not on a light team except in AR lol
I also sometimes use her to tank mages if I really need it, and occasionally yeeting her out into the open to hit someone then Frederick pulling her back to safety. What’s nice about that is her weapon effect still happens regardless.
Overall, she’s a staple of my teams for her buffing, her assist, and the maneuverability she grants herself and the team. Plus she cute uwu

This was the last of my Rokkr Sieges attempt today. I did get 150,000 damage against Tharja but the same set up didn’t work with Kiria and I’m not sure why haha she kept targeting other members of the team and I had to move them around and it messed up the formation/sacrificed my hits. Tharja was happy to target Reinhardt, though, so that made getting hers easier.
Basically, Reinhardt was doing quad attacks and buffed/sung to to do it four times each phase (ideally). Guard kept the rokkr from switching, Noontime kept him healed/guard in effect, and Breath of Life kept the dancers healed.
Weird enough, this happened with the other phases, too. I got Titana’s accessory but not Greil’s, and I got Brigid’s but not Kronya’s. I guess I’m still learning about how to do these maps best.
