i am officially quitting this account for good.
i’m proud of the following i was able to gain on here, the community i formed around my writing has been some of the nicest people i’ve met, and i’m truly grateful you’ve all stuck around.
though for the better in the future i don’t think continuing this account would be best.
in the future i may return on a different account with a new change of pace, but for now i shall stay off tumblr as of the time being.
if anyone wants to reach out my discord is in my last post, i may check in occasionally with dm’s and such, where you can ask for other ways of communicating.

rlly don’t think i’m gonna be continuing this acc in the foreseeable future due to personal and social reasons. my mental health has been off and on since november-december of last year, i’ve constantly been close to quitting this account just as i had with my previous acc
with not being able to write for something i enjoy, it’s truly not fun anymore. i may come back to this acc at some point, but i doubt it. it was fun to meet people and such, but for now, this acc will be smth of the past
i’ll question coming back in these upcoming weeks and months, we’ll see. if you need to reach out my discord username has changed to “titihq” feel free to add me or send a dm, i’ll most likely respond at some point

i truly believe parasocial relationships will be the end of most of my favorite content creators careers.
anymore i feel as tho there are two sides to a fandom. the one who like to sit back and bask in content, maybe following a few update blogs or accounts so they’re updated on the most recent events involving their favorite creator.
and then there’s the people who dig too deep into someone’s personal life. they treat them as a friend and not a stranger constructed of pixels on a screen. they talk about them and refer to them as if they know them in real life.
these people concern me, constantly digging into the lives of those online, and making it an ultimate hell for everyone else.
parasocial relationships are an evasion of privacy, a way to start rumors and lies, a thing that can make or break a persons online presence.
parasocial relationships will most likely scare people off the internet, leaving other fans with nothing to watch, with no comfort creator or streams, maybe even video to look forward too.
please, if you’re going to be a fan of someone be normal.
there’s a perfect term for this; stan. stalker-fan.
don’t be a stan. be a normal fan.
consume the content, leave a like and positive comment, and move on.
don’t treat them like a friend. don’t talk about them like a friend. don’t act like they’re your friend. because they’re not.
if you only know them through a screen, their posts are just a bunch of 1’s and 0’s to you; they are not your friend.
parasocial relationships truly need to stop
