Ok ok I DO NOT have issues with this. Because I know the stars are just a visual effect, so it's not realistic getting them animated or whatever.
However I want to remind y'all about this precious moment because the stars motif is used repeatedly when describing experiences of the twins together.
And I just find super duper cute that O'Ciel is having a moment here with his bestie, and that is reminding him of moments with his brother.
And I just live for this.

The last sentence hits hard
I think the Public School Arc is somewhat painful because it's a glimpse into what Ciel's life should have been like.
In a world where the attack and fire hadn't happened, he might have gone to school (depending on whether his asthma went away). Sure, he'd have the troubles of any kid. There'd be people like Cole. But he might have genuinely befriended people like McMillan.
I don't know if he would have pulled off something like the cricket victory; I think living in his brother's shadow might have stilted him a bit. But he could have been happy and not have to do so many horrific things to survive.
But all of those possibilities were lost that ond night. And now, he's become stronger in some senses, but at a great cost. He's proven his capacity as a leader, but only through sacrificing part of his humanity.

Now that savannahclaw Rook is loose everyone is ragging on Vil for giving him that fuck ass bob but I just wanna point out that if some freak stalked me to my house with a rats nest on his head and started policing my diet I’d give him a fuck ass bob too. Not Vil’s fault that freak liked it and kept it that way. He probably hoped he’d get rid of him and instead he got the Berries and Cream waistline police taking up permanent residence in his house.
