I’m glad it’s getting easier. That makes sense. With time I imagine it will get easier. Until then, simply keep going is as good a plan as any I’ve heard.

I tried my best to select a gift that would be of a practical use, as well as to your liking.

While it appears a basic chest, it comes with a charm so that it will only open at your touch, and if you should wish is able to hold another charm of your choosing. 

I also discovered this silver quill - I thought you would like the snake.

[Theme: Gatsby and his dapper fashion, it was easy for Amycus to recreate the roaring 20s or… raging 30s or… really, whatever time period that Gatsby the Great had first been brought to life by ink and paper. He was dressed as well as he could considering it was not his own birthday party, though his and Alecto’s were coming up shortly, which reminded him…

Passwords were given in their whispered fashion to allow Amycus access to the party venue. He was glad the guest list was that of his own kind, the only people he would really spend his time with to make something of it. Intellectual conversations met with deeper understanding of their bonds together - the Dark Lord was great at creating friendships by a mere whisper of his name and a nod of understanding.

Amycus stepped into the room of mingling people to find himself a drink and then to make quiet conversation with whomever he ran into. He was sure Alecto would be joining the party herself but he would catch up with her later. They had a lot to say.]

[Social gatherings were far from Philip’s idea of a night well spent, but with this particular crowd and for Brice he was willing to make an exception and actually attend the party rather than make an appearance and disappear. He turned when he heard someone approaching, nodding his greeting] Drink?
