[ID: Boxed shaped clay sculpture of a Przewalski's horse. The horse's body is painted onto the box in the style of palaeolithic cave art, and the front half from the shoulders is realistic and three-dimensional, fully emerging at the end of the box. The horse is in a walking pose with the front left leg raised and the head tilted slightly sideways. Each photo shows a different angle. End ID]
Yeah, happy with this. Will be remaking it at some point, hopefully with less issues. I'll have to give it a coat of gloss as this clay is not hardy and needs protection.
now more than ever, please vet gofundmes before you donate.
copy and paste descriptions into google to see if there are scam accounts reusing the same story, check to see if there are any images/updates on the fund with faces. go to the original blog, check if the post asking for help is only an hour old, or even less than that. refrain from donating if all it links to is a PayPal account, without any further confirmation of identity.
it’s horrible to say but it’s never been a better time for scam artists to exploit your generosity, when things seem so dire, and I’ve donated to campaigns before only to realise later that the entire story was stolen from an actual family in need. due diligence might take a few more minutes out of your day but at least you won’t be sending money to an opportunistic scumbag.
As someone who’s never seen anything Tim and Eric related, the plot twist of who Steven was just seemed hilarious. Like this big reveal that’s been weighing on us for the whole episode, and my first thought was “Who the fuck is this guy?”
I love how Brennan was the first player to really specifically use the “playing a character they will think is someone else” strategy, and then Ally used the same strategy but the completely unhinged version.
Growing up near a beach frequented by the elderly makes one more accepting of human bodies in general, I think. And it is gauche to criticize people for things they cannot control about their appearance.
However.
Sometimes people do silly things to themselves. Take for example the man I saw at the beach the other day, who was obviously naturally hirsute (ok) and had removed a lot of his body hair (fair) but had done so in such a way that he ended up with a *perfectly* rectangular bathroom-rug-shaped patch of fur on his torso.
