Seriously though, modern fandom, y’all need to remember that you can, like, ship multiple ships. 

Like I can ship two ships that are diametrically opposed, at the same time, because I like both ideas. You don’t have to choose one or the other. 

Like I can ship, for example, Sam/Frodo, and also Sam/Rosie, both AT THE SAME TIME. I don’t have to pick ONE couple and denounce all others, and tell everyone else that their ships are WRONG and BAD and mine is the only TRUE AND CORRECT ship. 

I’ve been doing the Rolling Stone 500 best albums challenge for a while now, and a while ago I reached The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance, which is the first time I’ve listened to this album since i was...14? and COMPLETELY obsessed with this band, so I was very excited for the nostalgia, but i was NOT ready for how good this album is?? Like, I think it’s actually incredible??? I always thought I was just an unhinged emo teen for being obsessed with this, but this actually holds up.

in my head the star wars equivalent of tswift is some human woman named tay’lor spiff or something and her stans are losing their minds over theories that she’s secretly a jedi singing about the horrors of war, even though she’s from a neutral system that hasn’t seen so much as a moral panic in 50 years
