That storehouse looked like it probably had food, but he'd watched Ciri and Geralt on the ferry. She really loved spending time with Geralt. He clearly was enjoying spending time with her. Jaskier loved that for them.
"You two go and have some last minute father-daughter time. I'll stay here and supervise Yennefer to make sure she gets this shield in tip-top shape," Jaskier said brightly. Yennefer rolled her eyes at him, but she gave Geralt a Meaningful Stare that Jaskier found interesting. Not lust, not quite yearning, but maybe trust? Maybe they really had worked some of their shit out. Jaskier filed that detail away for later.
"I would like to put in an order for turtle soup and maybe some roasted wild boar while you're out there." Jaskier said to Ciri, earning him a laugh.
"Rabbit stew it is," Geralt said.
Jaskier tipped his head back in exasperation and Ciri gave him a companionable shoulder-bump before bounding off with Geralt. "At least keep your noses open for any wild truffles!"
"There aren't any truffles on the island," Yenenfer said.
"Why must you dash my hopes and dreams of extravagant morsels?" Jaskier sighed.
"I'm overdue for tormenting the bard," Yennefer said, not bothering to hide a smile.
"Well, I wouldn't want to deprive you," he muttered reflexively.

Trouble is afoot and it will be a long evening for the White Knight.
The White Knight has been in the Queen’s service for more than half his life. He currently stands beside her royal majesty in the throne room, bearing witness to the thorn in the Queen’s side. A thorn he will be called upon to remove.
Whether he was pushing miscreants from the kingdom with his blade, doling out punishments on behalf of the Queen, or sating her majesty’s sexual desires, the White Knight fulfilled his responsibilities every day of his life. However such consistency was not common in all of the Queen's loyal subjects.
This spy in particular, a faun with broad shoulders and a nervous smile, a tufted little goatee and soft, folded ears. He has a penchant for distracting the castle guards with jovial questions about their favorite snacks. He has often derailed the White Knight's retinue from their duties with gossip from the latest winter festival.
Mr. Tammus had come into the Queen’s service only a few short years ago. The White Knight had been on assignment looking for allies to enlist to the Queen’s service. He’d ventured into the western mountains, seeking the brawn of a clan of minotaurs. It was there that he discovered Mr. Tammus beguiling the clan leader and her grandfather with a musical jig. Mr. Tammus had accidentally broken a curse that had fouled their young with human-features. Mr. Tammus could have asked for anything from the grateful clan but instead requested only shelter and their undivided attention while he performed his latest song.
Upon witnessing Mr. Tammus’ charm on the minotaurs firsthand, the White Knight knew the faun would prove useful for the Queen’s service.
Tammus indeed proved to be a valuable asset with eyes and ears in the community and borderlands, able to strike up friendships all due to his cherub-like face and penchant for outlandish tales that could enchant anyone with ears. He found secrets and gossip in the unlikeliest of places that was useful to the Queen and her royal guard.
Yet there are times where the faun’s flightiness has tested the Queen's patience.
Which is why Mr. Tammus is currently on his knees and bowing, snowmelt slipping from his hair onto the floor.

She looked the bard up and down. He looked fine outwardly. There were no obvious signs. Whoever had cursed him must have been fond of his pretty face to not marr it.
“What kind of curse?”
This time Geralt didn't save him. He twisted his head towards him and nodded towards her. If it were possible, Jaskier turned even more red. He chewed his lip nervously before answering.
“It doesn't work,” he mumbled.
“Sorry, what?”
“It. Doesn't. Work.”

Jaskier and Geralt seek Yennefer out to break a curse. It seems they'll have to do this the old fashioned way.

I don’t think it will be weird plot wise for Geralt and Yen to meet up in season 4, they never had Geralt believe Yen betrayed him at the end of the coup like in the book
And if Yen can find Geralt randomly in the woods and heal him I see no reason why she can’t teleport and find him again this season
i do agree! although alongside the table read there was an article published on tudum about s4 that specifically said that geralt’s not only looking for ciri but also for yennefer which has me 🤔 so something must happen at the beginning of the season that makes it impossible for geralt to “access” yennefer

Unpopular opinion: Jaskier's bisexual bob is a great hairstyle and I hope it's even longer in season 4. :P
and it’s an unpopular opinion for a reason bestie 😔🙏
#i mean the thing IS! it wouldn’t be a bad haircut if they didn’t straighten it because joeys hair is naturally quite wavey#so it's insane to me that their excuse is all like oh we needed to grime him up because he's on the road all the#but we also straightened it every single morning 😭 because he owns the medieval equivalent of a travel straightener APPARENTLY#and#i mean realistically speaking i doubt it’s gonna get longer since it was joeys natural hair in s3 and he has since cut it off#so we’re either getting the s2 wig back or he’s gonna have his natural short hair which is what i’m hoping for#maya answers stuff

are we hoping Jaskier gets a new costume? I need the man to get a new outfit especially when it felt like everyone last season got one but him.
everyday i pray for a new jaskier costume and every day lucinda strikes me down. but i am hopeful this season especially since they have the best opportunity ever for a soft reboot of character designs and especially knowing that geralt gets a new costume in s4 there’s no excuse for jaskier not to. if he doesn’t i need you all to know that it was a personal attack on my person by lucinda wright.

well the obvious and right answer here is the unicorn sex scene because i think we as a society need it now more than ever, but unfortunately i don’t see how that could work now, maybe as an elaborate flashback or something
i think we might be in for some kinda of a dream sex sequence?? but then again i do selfishly hope they keep the geralt having prophetic dreams strictly about ciri and jaskier dreaming only about yennefer plot intact because i’m a yenskierina first always and forever
so i’m actually hoping for an emotional reunion because i’m sure there’s no way yennefer and geralt won’t have scenes at all together this season looking strictly at the recast, people are expecting to see the new chemistry, so even if it might be wonky plot wise i don’t see them keeping geralt (and hopefully jaskier as well) away from yennefer the entire season 🤞😁

I'm very curious for how they go about Jaskier and Radovid in the future; I really love to see what the come up with but I also hope if they are endgame that Jaskier isn't restricted to court life and still gets to travel.
yeah i’m really curious about that as well especially since we’re getting close to anna henrietta plot wise, so i’m curious if that’s gonna be connected at all. honestly my preference for them would be to have a tragic ending where they can’t actually be together but that’s because i’m a sucker for a tragic ending and i love that hugh and joey called them “almost star crossed”.
also (unpopular opinion maybe!) but im gonna need more meat on the bone from them from s4 i feel like they were too cutesy for me to truly get into which is a pity because i really really wanted to get into them as a pairing. need to toxic yaoi-fy them more.
