I loved hijack since the birth of it (I feel old lol) and I still love them so much, I've been sad for a while seeing the fandom die, but recently I came across your beautiful fanart and It made me so happy I started to edit a hijack amv that I hope will finish soon, so thank you so much for sharing that beauty! I specially love the coloring and their creative outfits!! oh and the fluffiness, of course, they're so soft . I could stare at them for hours!

Now, I'm always curious about other hijack fans even if I almost never have the chance to ask (thanks for the permission btw), how did you start shipping them? of course, thank you for the ask! how i started shipping them is really funny actually! it was a fandom i’ve been familiar with since about 2014/2015 and i read a few fics for them back then but wasn’t really involved, but just this summer i stumbled across of the northmost winds and skies by xxiiyu and read all +400k in a week 😭 definitely the start of the rabbit hole, and i just fell more in love with them from there

as for why i like them, there’s really so much! the potential for the dynamic is so good, them seeing something amazing in each other that they can’t see in themselves is something i really love. i was telling a friend that one thing i really love is that they’re both protagonists. you see whole stories exclusively from their point of view so they’re both fully rounded character in their own right with really strong character arcs, so when you put them both together there’s no character that kind of falls into “the love interest” role. i don’t know if that makes sense but i really enjoy it! it’s great for fics too, they each come with their own cast of supporting characters and it makes the potential scope of the story huge

hmm as for headcanons, i have to think! i think for me hiccup is always the one who knows he’s in love first. not that it’s easy for him to tell, but he’s got a better understanding of romantic love and has had his connection to humanity for longer. jack literally lost his chance to grow up, and being 14 or 18 never really got out of that thinking of “romance is for adults, i’m not ready to grow up”, so i think realizing he’s in love with hiccup would be a game changing character moment for him. i think for both of their characters that same fear of coming into themselves and the change involved is a big part of them, and that’s another thing i love!

as for fics, of the northmost winds and skies of course, the heart of a dragon’s soul series by silverysilence that i hope returns from war (elskede!!), and everything by @emerialyncodevenice who is so so lovely! especially love the ripple of a snowflake 💙💚

Rescued this lovely bunny from a drain on the side of the road and even though I wanted initially to give up, she's such a brave, sweet fighter I have to try my best to give her the life she deserves

Heading to the emergency vet first thing tomorrow, because she was sitting so long in her own waste that her privates have started to go necrotic and she needs more then I and a wet toothbrush can provide.
