Typical Knov. Always so logical and observant. Morel had tried his best to force his eyes away from you, but you were just so…captivating. You worked at a high end jewelry store that sold mostly silver and precious gems. The store was part of a community square near the ocean he frequented, and ever since he and Knov started visiting the place to meet up and eat, he noticed you more and more. Your eyes, he noted, often lingered on some of the items you found particularly pretty in a soft way- as though you could never hope to afford such a luxury, or at least not without feeling guilty due to your financial responsibilities. Morel desperately longed to speak to you, but his own insecurities held him back from doing so. You seemed to be in your early to mid twenties? Far too young and beautiful to ever take interest in a man like him, right?

“Let’s go”, Knov said suddenly standing up and adjusting his glasses. Morel could tell he had that pinched expression he often used that meant ‘you’re such an idiot’, but before he could react Knov was already making a beeline for the store. And to his abject horror, he had ran after him, nearly flipping the table they had just been seated at in the process.

“Knov-!”, but before he could grab his arm to prevent him from opening the door, your sweet voice had called out.

“Welcome, is there anything I can help you find, today?”

Morel had visibly tensed, and unconsciously clenched his teeth. You smile was so warm, and kind that were it not for the dark shades that adorned his face, you may have pinned him for a complete pervert with the way he was unable to tear his eyes away from you.
