Columbus day
I have off this Monday from work but I am not off from life. I am going to use the day off to my advantage and work on myself.
🖤 wake up early
🐱 workout at the gym
🌙 take a shower
🎃 eat a nice healthy breakfast
💖 check out the coffee shop on passyunk I haven't been to before and set up shop
🖤 take practice GRE tests online
🐱 clean my apartment
🌙 crack open my orgo textbook and brush up on any sort of analytical chem chapters
🎃 finish the book I'm reading

I always try really hard to be a good friend
but something on reddit made me change my perspective a bit about being honest with your friends.
If you're friend is in a situation/relationship/whatever that is less than ideal, do not hammer them over the head with "leave, leave, leave," or "do something about your situation" etc unless you want them to distance themselves from you. I need to get better at learning when to hold my tongue so they will still have me to confide in when they deal with the fallout. I'm too preachy a lot of the time and I need to just make sure that they know I'm gonna be there no matter what.

There is a really interesting blog called “Fluent Forever” that aids foreign language learners in tricks, tips and techniques to guide them to achieving fluency “quickly” and efficiently. 2am - city lights from a high rise, dusty book piles, tired eyes, writing stories, indie concerts, procrastination, denim jackets, classic movies, writing in a diary, impulse shopping, plants on the window ledge

Had a lovely time with friends two weeks ago, when I was still in Tokyo. I finally saw some traces of fall at Ginkgo Avenue, even if it was only on the ground, haha! We went to see a vintage cosmetic exhibition at Isehan-Honten Museum of Beni. It was a small but interesting exhibit!
