Honestly, though 20 years apart, some of these pictures do really take me back to the early days — the antics, the energy, the expressions, it’s like 25 years never passed.
Muse have nothing to apologise for and I’m glad they enjoyed it too, at the very end!

The way it happened was pretty surreal... so KoC starts boom technical problem on the stage, they come back a few min later start KoC AGAIN to stop 1 minute into the song. Matt is pissed, he says they ran out of time and cannot continue. We refuse to leave, we clap and scream for like 5 min. They finally come back and say they're going to play a song before they get kicked out 😭 SHOWBIZ STARTS

Muse at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow | WOTP European tour 2023
These pictures are officially making me lose my mind, they are insane, they are dramatic, they are evocative, they are atmospheric, the rain seems to add an almost threatening edge to them, and in the midst of it all, a band who look as cool and prescient as they do silly and like they're having fun. Matt's little blep in that second-to-last picture! <3 Chris' smile in the first picture! The concentration on Dom's face. How dark the skies were behind them—I can only imagine Muse were a fitting soundtrack to the weather, except they'd make it all sound 10x more apocalyptic and ominous... and yet fun?! Glam, camp, spaghetti and tons of fucking fun. It looks like it was a great gig!

OMG I went to see Muse last night and they were just incredible😱 Your enthusiasm for Muse meant I was expecting big things, but they still managed to exceed my expectations. They put on the BEST show, it was unbelievable. And the crowd had so much energy! For some reason (idk why), I used to think Muse fans just stood there, wearing sunglasses and leather jackets, nodding along to the music. But last night's crowd was one of the best I've ever been in. Never stop shouting about Muse! If it annoys anyone I will fight them for you; Muse deserve all the hype they get and more🤩

They do put on the best show! I love that you can have a great experience at a Muse show whether you're down in the front, somewhere in the pit or even in the seats, it's a full audio-visual, sensory experience! And of course, just the band as musicians alone are such good players and performers, it still blows my mind the kind of things they regularly pull off live, that so many bands would love to match once in their lives, I'm in complete awe of their musicianship.
I'm so glad to hear the crowd was good too! It sounds like you had a great time, which I'm so happy to hear! One of my favourite memories from my show was everyone around me with their arms up in the air, stadium awash with blue lights, a whoosh of confetti rocketing over our heads, while slightly off-key voices enthusiastically and lovingly sang the words to Verona in a distinct French accent, while feeling Chris' bass and Dom's drum in my bones as Matt ran across the stage with his guitar echoing all over the stadium; I could daydream for ages with that one moment playing over and over in my head, and a good crowd is really what made it feel so special and made the togetherness of enjoying it with other fans stick out to me so much! (Did they play Verona at your show?)
I am about to get so much more annoying about Muse, thank you! <3😊♥️

I think the way I am on stage is probably who I really am. Everything else is a persona. It’s an unedited version of who you are. For me there’s something pure about that.
