This Saturday Anime Club PDX will be putting a sort of Cosplay Fashion Show.

So bring your best and come on down to strut your stuff.

We meet @ 1pm on the top part of Ira Keller Fountain Park.

All are welcome.

After we do our runway portion of the photo shoot we can move on to individuals or even make a video (Which would be pretty rad)

This was not meant to cause a fissure.

It took a week for all of you to blow up about this. It took a week for you all to take this out of hand. This was not meant to cause a fissure. This was simply meant to slap the wrist of those who littered, threw trash around and sexually harassed one of our admins. Also what you don't seem to understand is our group has multiple admins. We have multiple people answering asks. Some of us answer them in ways that to some, are abrasive or to some seem polite. In the timespan this happened not only has our group received hate from portlandstuck, but it has also been physically threatened. We are no better than you, but you are no better than us either. We tried to handle this as privately as possible. Our injured admin and bottle girl spoke and everything is fine. There is nothing to fight over. Calm down. We simply wanted it to be known that your actions were inappropriate. Calm down. This is unnecessary.

I was searching in the Portlandstuck tag recently and I saw a post where tumblr user tehlulu threatened to bring a squirt gun full of soda as a way of declaring a gang war. I feel it should not be taken lightly since it's a direct threat even if it was meant as a joke. Please be safe all of you.

If that happens and our group is harassed further the authorities will be called. Thank you for the heads up.

Bring your unwanted wall scrolls, figures, anime, manga, and anything else to trade.

Remember, this is intended for trading, if money must be used to even out a trade, please keep it under $5.

The weather should be pretty warm so lets do this on the top half of the park. I hope to see you guys there!

Hey rumples! This could be really fun! This group is really sweet and this is an awesome chance to swap out some anime or manga. I'm not sure if any of us mods will be able to go, but if you guys want to cosplay and meet up with these guys you are more than welcome!

so as administration actually has lives outside of our informal feud with portlandstuck, i'd like to expedite discussion of the issues at hand by requiring from now on anyone wishing to discuss their (valid) issues with the events of saturday or any conflicts in the future to message us off anonymous so we may discuss matters with them privately.

please note anonymous messages and contentless abuse will be deleted.

please note, also, that transparently insincere apologies, apologies with addendum and apologies by proxies will probably not be met warmly.

No we don't. We are trying to protect our members along with our admins. What happened was not ok. We accept the apology but what happened not only set back a healing process weeks. 

You see our admin was just diagnosed with a glycerin allergy. She is allergic to the ink she was tattooed with. She was unaware of this when she was tattooed. She was also diagnosed with a sun allergy recently. She was out in the sun that day too. So the sugar in the faygo upset her skin so much that day that she had to wash it with pink soap she got from the hospital. She has open soars on her arm. Festering soars due to the sugar that was splattered on her arm anon. Yet you have the audacity to say we are overreacting.

No. We are not. Your group is a danger to us. You can come to Keller park. We just will not be in the same area as you. We can coexist. Just not next to each other. We can coexist very very far away from each other thank you very much anon.

When you are apart of a group. Your individual actions reflect upon that group. They represent that group as a whole. I'm sorry bottle girl but it seems you're using your anxiety as an excuse to kick bottles around and rain faygo on a fresh tattoo of an admin that also suffers from severe anxiety. Did you ever consider that?

Also your entire group seemed to be kicking bottles around. Putting the entire group at fault. One action speaks for all. One apple ruins the bunch.

Our admin suffers from a severe phobia of being sticky and goes into intense panic attacks when she is dirty or sticky. You and your group could have induced one in public which she is also incredibly uncomfortable with.

We didn't CHOOSE to hang out with you that day at Keller fountain.

We chose that location weeks ahead of time. Your group CHOSE, that DAY, to MOVE there on A WHIM. 

So it was your group who disturbed our peaceful meet that we RARELY HAVE. Thank you. Thank for that. I appreciate that greatly. Portlandstuck as a whole. Thank you for reflecting your group and how heinous you really are. :)

So when are the official meets, on Saturdays?

Meets are usually announced as they come up. Mainly because a couple of our admins live very far out of the Portland area. We try to have meets at least every month though! Especially since the weather has gotten warmer too. We do take suggestions on meet locations and meet ideas as well.

Yo im an admin for pstuck and im your side, our members are childish and what ever we tell them they seem to just to go in one ear and out the next.

Thank you Kalon! We appreciate your support. We've noticed this a lot. Especially since one of our admins was a former Portlandstuck Veteran. I'm sorry your group is so childish, I know you're trying your best.

As a member of portlandstuck. I would like to ask what happened. I have no ill intent, I really have nothing against you guys. I'm just a passerby who wants to Know what all the ruckus is about.

When we returned, the number of Portlandstucks had doubled. At first things were fine and people were having fun. Things went downhill not long after that sadly. Admin Syo and I were sitting by the fountain with small group of Portlandstucks to our left and in front of us. The group to our left was messing around with Faygo bottles and thought it would be a good idea to throw a closed bottle of not so empty Faygo on the ground. The cap broke and sprayed all over Admin Syo’s left arm, which had open wounds from a tattoo, and her cosplay. 

Admin Syo yelled at the girl who had thrown the bottle, telling her it was not right to throw things in a public place among other things. Many other Portlandstucks tried to defend the girl, but Admin Syo silenced them. I ended up yelling at the girl too because she would not look Admin Syo in the eye when she apologized; this is a clear sign of disrespect and not one of apology. 

The girl apologized profusely and said she would leave. Both Admin Syo and I told her that was not necessary and that she need to be more aware of her surroundings and that she should not throw things. However the girl left after we finished speaking with her and the other group of Portlandstucks moved as far away from us as possible. 

After that, I started picking up trash that the DRPDX members had in our area. I noticed two empty faygo bottles with no owners to be found. I asked the Portlandstucks who the bottles belong to. A few said they had no idea and one Portlandstuck came over to inspect the bottles. This Portlandstuck immediately decreed that it wasn’t theirs and walked off. Somewhat sarcastically, I said that I guess I would clean it up since none of the Portlandstucks offered to throw them away. The Portlandstuck who had walked off tried to come back and take the bottles, but I went over and threw them in the trashbag I had brought. 

The third and by far one of the worst parts of that day was the sexual harassment I received. There was a Portlandstuck (we assume) who’s name I do not know with brown curly hair and glasses at the Fountain. At first he seemed fairly nice, but, as we were joking in a group, he pretended to ‘push’ me into the fountain. However, instead of gesturing with his hands at my shoulders where someone would normally push, he gestured at my breasts and below my waist. Several people in the group called him out on it, myself included, and he walked away. 

However he and another Portlandstuck who relayed a message from him to me. At first I couldn’t understand what she was saying because she kept snickering. I demanded several times that she repeat herself and she finally repeated it: “He said he wants to eat your ass.” 

I am a survivor of sexual assault. Sexual comments are something that have an ill effect on me as they do most people. So I was speechless and unable to make a proper sentence. Thankfully Admin Celes, Admin Syo, and several other asked if I was uncomfortable and, upon my yes answer, were able to get the Portlandstucks to walk away.

The remaining group began to amuse ourselves with awkward turtle hand gestures. I was starting to feel better when suddenly i heard the Portlandstuck boy behind me saying awkward penis. Immediately the others in the group leapt to defend and tell the guy off. He was confused as to why we were acting like that and finally left for good. 

After that, we tried to find the Portlandstuck Admin who was supposedly nearby only to have found they had left. Not long after the DRPDX admins and I left. 

And now you know what happened and is one of the many reasons as to why DRPDX will not be interacting with Portlandstuck anymore as stated in our previous post here [x].

An Incident Has Occurred

I know we don’t meet that often, but in the spare chance that we do, we often run into our fellow group “Portlandstuck.” 

Now we do know that group to be notoriously rowdier than us on more than one occasion. We also have known the group to shun us and be rude to us on more than one occasion.

This is the last straw though. We as admins are no longer going to be having DRPDX interact with Portlandstuck for your safety.

The group is garish, indecent and dangerous. To look after you to the best of our abilities we are going to no longer be in similar location as our fellow Portland group. Not only have we had an admin injured by Portlandstuck, we have had DRPDX members shunned from joining Portlandstuck meets in the past and in recent events we have also had to pick up litter from our fellow Portlandstuck group as well.

This type of behavior cannot continue by Portlandstuck. The line has been drawn. We are sorry it has come to this. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

We can see if we can plan some not on Saturdays. Saturdays are the most convenient for most of our members, but we can see if we can do some picnic meets during the summer on some other days.

GUESS WHO'S BACK! BACK AGAIN!

DRPDX is officially back online and we're celebrating with our first meetup of the summer! 

For this meetup, we'll be holding a celebratory picnic meetup at Keller Park in SW Portland on July 19th at noon. If Keller Park is too full, we will move to Pettygrove Park. 

Now picnic means FOOD so it would be awesome if everyone could bring something whether its drinks, utensils, food. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. In fact you can grab some chips and drinks from the Dollar Tree and be set. Please send us a message with what you will be bringing and we will have a post with the list of food. 

I hope you all can come and, if you can't, don't worry. There will be more meetups coming soon.
