I had to pause the movie after Skye gave Rocky that look when he said it would buff right out. So I could stop laughing

Ryder's powder would be seeing all the different outcomes from rescues to come up with the best plan of action or increased brain power.
The answer is in his name. Copycat. He can copy any of the pups' powers to cause more chaos.
You know what I think is a HUGE missed opportunity in the show? Ryder getting super powers in the Mighty Pups sub-series. It would be so freaking cool, especially thinking about what kind of power he would have, I like to think he'd have multiple powers, like ladybird and copycat, since he's the leader
Half of me AGREES SO HARD WITH THIS. It would be AWESOME! We'd get to see Ryder helping his pups EVEN MORE. I'm not sure what kind of power he would have and I avoid "this character gets the coolest thing because they're the leader" kind of reasoning like it's the plague, so it's a bit hard to come up with an idea that suits him.
The other half believes that he didn't even try using the meteor to power himself up ever because he doesn't see a need to do this for himself- he's already resourceful enough as he is. He doesn't feel like he needs this extra boost, he already does a lot on his own, he's got a jetpack, he's got armor, so he lets the pups have their fun and enjoy their new powers and abilities.
Given that, I also believe if the situation ever calls for it, if someday Ryder will see his pups facing risk of death, booooooy, he's SO going to be like, time to get serious and go for it. He has no idea what will happen, he has no idea what kind of powers the meteor might bring out for him, but he's SO GOING TO USE IT to make sure his pups will be safe and sound in the end, even if it's at the cost of his own life.
On a second note, I have no idea why the Copycat got the entire Patrol's powers but let's roll with the "they need someone to pose a real challenge on them all at the same time" cartoon logic.

It would be interesting to see your version of Marshall's backstory and how it compares to mine.
I want to know if you will share your backstory about Marshall here or not. I really want to know it.
Oh, I'd forgotten all about that. Admittedly, I started working on it a lot, but when I tried to fix some issues I felt it had, the whole thing started to get a bit bloated, so I pushed it to the side and never got back to it. Maybe I'll take a look at it again and consider resuming/revising it or something.
In any case, I can't promise anything, but I'll think about it. Like I said before, I just did it for fun. I only really talked about a while back because I thought it'd be funny posting about how lengthy it turned out in such a short time. 😅

I've got no problem with more female pups on the show. In fact one of the stories I wrote had a female pup in it named Patch and one I'm working on now has a female pup in it.
Just want you to know that currently Paw Patrol has an advertising campaign of the Girl Pups to the Girl Audience/Demographic and making Skye the lead in the second movie as well as making her standout in Season 9 to current is the start of this.
Though in my opinion it's not a bad idea but the only problem would be how'd they write her character as if she's 'too much' or over the top than the male members of the team.
Not the first time I see someone pointing this out about the newest seasons... I'll see it for myself once I get there.
I agree with you - given just how few regular female pups we got in the show (even more when compared to how many male pups we got), it gets unbalanced when they need/want to call in the girl audience, because then they need to OVERUSE the few they have to make them stand out.
It all could be solved if we had more girls in the show - I'm not even saying this to piss off the people that think it's bad or annoying to have girls "invading" their spaces (God knows how many times I have been hearing and reading that since I first joined fandoms such as Transformers, or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, got harassed even in an online Digimon game for being a girl lol), it's just literally a fact: If we had more female pups, they could share this spotlight and not necessarily (and forcefully) push the male pups away to give them this spotlight all the time.
Simple solutions to simple problems LMAO

We are in Barkingburg to present the award for the naughtiest pup in the Paw Patrol universe. The contenders are the Ruff Ruff Pack, Claw and Sweetie. The award goes to Sweetie. I couldn't resist. They look like they are at an awards ceremony.
Made an edit based of curiosity and this is the final product:

While Marshall might be a fan favorite. I don't think he is Spin Master's favorite anymore. Just look at how few episodes he gets called for now. When the ultimate rescue subseries happened. Marshall was the third one. With Chase and Skye being first and second. When the Sea Patrol and Mighty Pups outfits came out at Build A Bear. Only Chase and Skye got outfits. None of the other 4 pups. It seems like they are phasing him out of the show to replace him with another pup.
This is no hate towards Skye, but am i the only one who thinks that Marshall should have been the main character in the Mighty Movie instead of her?
Well, I mean, as far as I've seen for a while in the Paw Patrol tags, there are more people who think that too.
I can see why- Marshall is a fan favorite. It was a bit obvious the first movie ever would center on Chase, he's like the Patrol's Second In Command, so LOGIC would say that second movie would be about Marshall, as he's the fans' favorite pup (as far as I've seen from several polls for several years before I was in the fandom, friendly reminder I saw one episode for the very first time just now in January 2024, so yeah, I'm kinda the "oldest newborn" ever in this fandom).
While I can't be sure just why they went for Skye for the second movie FOR REAL, my guess is that it's mainly for two reasons, under the cut because the post got long XD
One would be to please the girls, we know there are a lot of girls watching Paw Patrol (and why not, women too, just like me), and we don't have as many female pups in the show. It's like, Skye in the main team, Everest in the B Team, and then Liberty who took even longer to be added into the story. I'm not counting Sweetie because she's not a member of the Paw Patrol at all, as far as I'm concerned too.
The other reason would be to give this cute message that "Your size does not define who you are or what you can be". "No job is too big, NO PUP IS TOO SMALL" and all that.
Besides the ultimate goal of making more merchandise to make parents wallets cry, the goal of most kids movies is to give some simple but important message, and that's what they went for with this second movie, centering it on Skye for that. She's just perfect for that particular message, as Ryder said, he started with that catchphrase because of her.
And there it is: This kind of plot just would NOT fit with Marshall. He's not a small pup- heck I think he's got the longer legs among them tbh. And honestly? The only moment he was even HAVING A MOMENT was in the beginning at the junkyard fire. Those water bombing donuts were badass, not gonna lie XD But that was it. This movie was SO NOT going to be about him.
Skye was the chosen one for they wanted to tackle a plot about the catchphrase "No job is too big, no pup is too small."
If the second movie would have been a Marshall movie, it would LITERALLY be a very different movie, with a plot that would fit HIM. I know I'm dreaming high here but, considering both movies worked around with some backstory from their respective center characters (Chase and his trauma from when he was abandoned as a literal baby in the big city, then Skye with her trauma about being the runt of the litter and just never getting chosen for adoption), I would say we might expect the same kind of thing on the next movie - whoever's the pup who's going to get the spotlight this time, we'll get to learn a bit about their past too and it'll play a role in the plot for whatever the next message they'll want to send out for the kids.

I think he has an elevator shaft like Bruce Wayne does. He slides down the pole and comes out dressed in his gear
Considering the many outfits Ryder wears throughout the show, how does he manage to store all that wardrobe and where? Does he have a special room or something where he stores them?
Omg I nearly forgot about this ask in my drafts, sorry!
Uh, I think it's safe to say Ryder has his own bedroom in the Lookout tower- like, it's SOMEWHERE in there. I just... Don't know where. It can be somewhere around in the base floor or maybe there's a second or third floor surrounding the elevator. Maybe it's underground along with his ATV's garage or all the other trucks and planes garages. Who knows, really, I'm still at the beginning of 7th season, so if the show ever showed us just WHERE DOES THIS KID SLEEP IN THE LOOKOUT, I didn't get to see it yet. Heck it could be even up there above the control room for all I know, he leaves his pup-pad in the control room at night and goes to sleep AND SOMEONE CALLS FOR HELP AND HE SHOWS UP IN THE CONTROL ROOM IN HIS PAJAMAS BC HE HEARD THAT THING GOING OFF FROM WHEREVER THE HELL HE WAS SLEEPING. I wouldn't be surprised.
Besides, the kid LIVES there, he HAS to have a room to sleep and keep his personal stuff, which includes his clothes changes.
I also believe he has at least two of each outfit, this way one can be out to be washed/cleaned while the other is ready for use. That's how we do with school or job uniforms, have at least two of them to be able to wear them nearly daily.
Anyway, by personal experience as an owner of a very small closet while also owning a shit ton of clothes (I seriously need to take some away for donation again before my closet explodes) and considering how Ryder easily makes room to literally spawn all those trucks and aircrafts around the Lookout grounds, storage size for his outfits shouldn't be really a problem unless he's got way too many poofy jackets XD

Pup Tags
I've got a question for those of you that have the pups from Build A Bear. Do your pups still have their tags or did they come off? The reason I am asking is I noticed a lot of the pups on eBay don't have their pup tags.

New Stock Image Edit
So I've been working on this project for months (or maybe a year) and thankfully I got to finish it today. I want to thank my friend for finding this image of Rocky so I can put him in my edit.

Don't get me wrong, I like Rubble but I just think another character deserves to be on the same spotlight as Chase and Marshall. And I barely seen any stock images of Chase, Rocky, and Marshall together so here's them surfing together. I hope you guys like it.

A scene from an unaired episode of Rescue Knights
Daily Marshall - April 01, 2024

Marshall stumbled upon a strange portal and found himself in a world of dragons! Hold your horns, who's that purple dragon? Well, it looks like the spotted pup's already found a new friend!
(Okay, I'll admit, I made this year's April Fools Daily so two of my biggest favorite animated characters could meet. And for those of you that don't know, that's Spyro the Dragon! If you've never played his games, I recommend you check out the Spyro Reignited Trilogy! The first game's legit my #1 favorite game of all time! 😁)

I love it. Everest looks so cute in her fire gear. Thank you for drawing it.
Tumblr media
Request from @pawpatroller, Everest with Ultimate Firefighter gear along with Marshall! It was fun to take a look at all the pups as references and then come up with how Everest would look like in this gear.
On a second note, Firefighter helmets are now my #1 enemies for drawing. WHY IS IT SO HARD ISTG--

I'm still trying to figure out how Charger was able to drive Rubble's ultimate rescue truck since it is built off Rubble's vehicle and Rubble had it at the North Pole.
New Marshall Pics! (Season 10, Ep. 20)
It's been a while since I've done this, eh? Well, a new episode premiered early on KnowledgeKids, and I'm quite happy it did, since... well, you'll see!
Tumblr media
The first segment - "Pups vs. The Hum-Flectors"
As you can see from the title card... it's an Ultimate Fire Rescue!! Wow, we haven't seen one of these in the original TV series since all the way back in season 6! As many of you know, the Ultimate Fire Gear is my favorite outfit of Marshall's, so I was of course thrilled to see him wear it again! And the Ultimate Fire Truck, too... that thing is legit cool. :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just some before-the-mission screenshots before I get to the good stuff. The pups were digging holes for some plants, if you're curious.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And now, some pics during the mission! Again, it was awesome seeing Ultimate Fire Marshall again! However, you want to know the other big surprise?
Tumblr media
...THERE WAS AN ACTUAL FIRE!
Unlike the theatrical films, the TV series often shies away from fire. It's always either off-screen, implied, something smoldering or getting too hot, or in the case of Sparks (from Rescue Knights), his "fire breath" is more of a hot mist. The last time we seen an actual uncontrolled fire was... all the way back in season 1. And yet, they had an actual fire in this episode... TWO, in fact! Color me surprised!
My only complaint is that, despite what I described, the whole thing felt kind of... small in scale. Marshall's regular gear and firetruck could've easily handled the situation just fine, and the other stuff just required two pups in their normal gear. Still, I won't pass up the opportunity to see my favorite character in his best outfit!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And the second segment - "Pups Save a Capybara".
I don't have much to say about this one. Tracker's involved, so that's cool. Anyone notice the cartoon seems to be using him a lot more lately? Either way, outside of him, it was just Chase and Zuma. Otherwise, Winnie Winnington showed up again, and I won't blame you if you don't remember who she is. Overall, not as good as the last segment, but it's hard to compete with an Ultimate Fire Rescue. ;)
That's all for now!
