he is one of the trinity, he's god walking amongst mankind. in being human, he leads the rest by example. it. it's like. it's his whole thing.

its funny. as cool and fun as it is, OPLA didn't ultimately do anything for me that the animanga didn't do already and better, but watching OTHER people get so so so into it and fall in love with One Piece through it is filling me with a kind of effulgent joy I can't quite describe.
