Get it, girl.

First day of the program and we’re tasked with choosing a photo or quote that inspires us and gives us motivation. Mine is quite different from the others but it gives me motivation. #GetItGirl

Things that inspire me  -> Over 1,200 children die from malaria, which isn’t hard to treat with the right drugs.

“Living Goods uses an Avon Lady-like network of micro-entrepreneurs to sell drugs and other essential supplies door to door, helping reach remote villages and guaranteeing that medicine is real and will work. The Living Goods agents, locals from the area, also get basic medical training, using a custom app to diagnose common diseases.”

Due to the fact that I’m low-key the biggest politician wannabe out, Wellington is a pretty exciting city for me. So before the Hui began, you know I had to check out the House of Parliament.

This is the Team! To kick off the programme, participants from Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch met up in Wellington. We spent 2 days hearing from amazing speakers and meeting other participants. They all have incredible projects!  Definitely watch this space for project updates. 

Live the Dream is a 9-week intensive accelerator programme for Kiwis aged 18–30. The programme is designed to help sharpen their sense of purpose, grow connections, and develop social entrepreneurship and enterprise capability. I’ve been selected to take part in the Christchurch programme this summer! Aaaaand so I’m gonna blog about it.
