the Columbia University arrests are worse than they seem. They're arresting protesting students for trespassing. It goes without saying students cannot meaningfully "trespass" in the common areas of a university they attend. So Columbia University has suspended all student protestors from their institution, in the process revoking their access to housing, their belonging, and most crucially damaging their academic futures. We are witnessing full scale silencing and removal of anyone of conscience from the next generation of academia.

something ive been thinking about recently.... heart and mind mimicking the comedy and tragedy masks. aka, those masks where one smiles and the other frowns. heart, notably, has never smiled in the album. not even once, unless im fatally misremembering things. mind, however, had smiled a few times! primarily in storm and a spring.
its really fun to me! ive been thinking about it a lot lately and thats definitely showing in the pieces im drawing haha.
interestingly though, they seem to be almost...reversed? in the fanon side of the community. i see a lot of heart smiling and mind frowning... i wonder why that is?
very fun regardless!!
