Punch needle embroidery using Ultra punch on level 2. This piece is approximately 8”X 10”. Lots of fun to make. I used some Valdani thread but mostly DMC floss I had on hand from years ago. Color planning similar to suggested colors. Pattern designed by Old Tattered Flag.

Finished in time for the holiday! Old Tattered Flag design hooked using # 6 cut. Fun project to work on especially shading the poinsettia. It will now be part of the fireplace display along with the hooked mittens I made many years ago.

Oxford punch needle #14 used to create two 20” pillows. Jane McGown Flynn pattern “Zen doodle” on rug warp and Cottonwood Creek pattern “Thistle Grove” on monks cloth with minor adaptations to personalize. I hand dyed much of the wool yarn. These were great fun to make and are some of my favorites.

Traditional rug hooking using hand dyed and as is wool cuts #3-#6. Original design, inspired from a shop I frequented as a kid growing up in Scituate Harbor. It closed its doors in 2014 after 45 years in business. I still miss stopping by when I go home.
