Sometimes I like to think about how East Germany (German Democratic Republic) was only under Soviet reign, as West Germany (Federal Republic of Germany) was basically just split into joint custody of USA, Britain, and France. Does that mean FDR had three parents yet GDR was just motherless as fuck?
