“I’m assuming there will be no judgement here then, will there?” he inquired. Garrett let out a sigh and ordered his next drink. “Isn’t that the truth. I’ll drink to that.”
“None whatsoever.” Carrie assured him, finishing off the end of the drink in her hand and gesturing to the bartender for another. “Judgement would be a waste of time, especially when I’m working on my own future hangover.”

“Well, it’s Saturday night so I say fuck it. Whatever. I’m stressed and decided forgetting my problems tonight,” Garrett said to the person standing next to him in the bar. He had a lot on his mind and things that needed to be addressed but didn’t want to. “I just plan on getting shitfaced, in all honesty.”
“You hardly need to offer up any degree of justification to me.” Carrie replied, perhaps a little disinterested as she leaned back against the bar. It wasn’t like she ever but that much justification into why she was here on any given night. “Enjoy it. God knows everyone in the world tends to need it sometimes.”

“All I want in this God damn world is a pizza. You know what is 100% not on my diet plan? A pizza. A pizza might kill me. And yet, Domino’s is dialed up on my phone.”
“If you’ve got the number keyed in already, I think you’ve made your choice.”

“There’s a little in that brain of mine. My one brain cell keeps me from being a complete idiot,” he joked. “Well good. I’d be offended if you didn’t.”
“At least you still have the one. It would be a nightmare for everyone that came in contact with you if you ever lost that.”

“Of course I am. I don’t have a death wish,” he said with a nervous laugh. Johnny didn’t respect most women, but he respected Carrie. Maybe it was because they were both president of their houses or maybe because she scared him a bit. “I can be convincing if I really want to be.”
“Good. Glad to see you have some common sense, at least.” Carrie laughed as well, a little more playfully than Johnny did. She appreciated the apprehension from him in a way. It was good to know she could get some sort of respect from someone that didn’t always seem to have much of it. “Yeah? Guess I’m just going to have to take your word for that.”

Crystal nodded softly. “I think so? I’m not so sure anymore. I think someone I knew is just playing games with me.. it being Halloween and everything, but I … it’s just going too far.”
“Do you know who it is?” Carrie asked, looking at Crystal with concern. “Cause if it’s freaking you out this much, we should probably do something about it.”

“There’s much more to me, trust me. If you want you can find out,” he said as he grabbed his crotch and wiggled his eyebrows. “Just teasing of course, Carrie!” He put his hands up in defense before she could come at him. “There is. Not all are lucky enough to see it though.”
Carrie raised an eyebrow, the expression on her face a clear warning. It would take a little more for her to be impressed than that and she would hope he was already aware of that. “You’d better be.” She nodded, relaxing again. “I’m sure. Not that saying it that way is all that convincing.”

Crystal nodded. “Mine is slowly growing that way.” Biting her bottom lip she looked up at her. “No one has left you any weird notes or anything right? You’ve been safe?”
“Um -- Nope. Only weird notes I’ve been looking at are a bunch of things about culture and technology and the only danger I’ve been in is falling behind on course work. Why? You alright?”
