“Thank you.” He grinned as Klaus pecked his chin, his hands falling easily against his lovers’ hips. He knew it was irrational, and he knew it logically made no sense, but it made him feel a little better, even if it meant sacrificing that half thing of Phish Food ice cream.
“I think it’d be cruel to shove your brother in the freezer,” Dave replied softly as his nose crinkled at the idea, “you’re all he has now.” the reminder came with a kiss to Klaus’ forehead.
As his lover’s strong arms pulled him in, Klaus let out a defeated sigh; he knew that Dave was right. Klaus hummed as he raked his skinny digits through the soldier’s hair. “I guess you’re right,but I do wonder if he’d even fit,” he added as an afterthought, chuckling to himself at the notion.
“But with all of this freezer drama, I suppose you’ll have to start reading some more lighthearted fiction baby,” he said with a quick hunch of his shoulders. “I like a few classics, but Ben is the reader really,” he said his brow knit as it dawned on him that he didn’t know his boyfriend’s favorite book, or if Dave even had one. “I’m sure I’ve asked before but what’s a book you could read again and again?”
