i just know the homesickness went CRAZY the first like month too they probably called once a week and it would always end in a teary “i love you”
it was probably so surreal for sally too after fighting so hard to let percy have any type of future and now he is
i wonder if she’d scare herself every so often too like randomly have this deep seeded fear after everytime he’s away from her he comes back different that this would be like that bc she’s not there to protect him in some type of way
or maybe she’d randomly be like “where’s percy” before remembering he’s not missing he’s at college and call him just to verify that he’s ok

hi it's been a hot minute huh
anyway so I just finished submitting the last assignment of my undergrad and it's a little overwhelming and like. Yeah <3 crazy how that happens, i was in the fandom as a 9 year old and 12 years later, still going strong.
