my fave greek history story to tell is that of agnodice. like she noticed that women were dying a lot during childbirth so she went to egypt to study medicine in alexandria and was really fucking good but b/c it was illegal for women to be doctors in athens she had to pretend to be a man. and then the other doctors noticed that she was 10x better than them and accused her of seducing and sleeping with the women patients. like they brought her to court for this. and she just looked at them and these charges and stripped in front of everyone like “yeah. im not fucking your wives” and then they got so mad that a woman was better at their jobs then them that they tried to execute her but all her patients came to court and were like “are you fucking serious? she is the reason you have living children and a wife.” so they were shamed into changing the law and that is how women were given the right to practice medicine in athens

haley had so much passion and drive and talent and creativity. she could really have become a Someone in the fashion and photography area. her blog, her gallery showcase, her job. but the writers/producers/directors fucking ruined her storyline by making her end up with dylan just because it was easier to write jokes about the 'im dumb guy dylan' than with andy.
it just makes me so angry that she ended up being the knocked-up teen mom everyone joked about her becoming in high school. they really wasted her potential. maybe its supposed to reflect real life, how things never end up the way you want them to and you look back and realise the missed opportunities but are content with what you have. but i dont care

need a scene change in season five where percy asks for kiss because it's kind of a tradition. but instead of annabeth not looking at him. she stops what she's doing and walks up to him. they're nose-to-nose. staring at each other. and annabeth almost looks aggravated. until she tells him to come back alive and he'll see. and percy stares deep into her eyes just nods. and then they part ways. and immediately start kicking ass on opposite ends of the battlefield. and the remaining campers are stunned. but quickly gather themselves to exchange drachma before fighting because they placed a bet on whether or not these two have kissed yet. and apparently.
