This bodysuit is simply gorgeous.❤️I made it as underwear and sleepwear, but I was playing in my mind with top version as well 🤔(I will maybe try to do it).

Should have reblogged this earlier since the poll finished a few days ago. Welp, it's pretty much a draw between the two workflows. I kinda expected this outcome, so I'll try my best to cover both styles in the upcoming guide (or maybe 2 different versions for the guide just to simplify reading it, we'll see!). Thanks again to all the people who voted and also left their feedback! Very much appreciated 💛
I have plans on updating the Tattooer sometime this year with some quality of life improvements, along some new stuff, but yeah the new workflow might use just a couple keyboard shortcuts to make the process even faster. Just wanted to know what the cc community generally prefers before I write down the guides and stuff for the new version in the future.
Also, I never ask for this, but pretty please maybe consider reblogging this so it reaches more ts2 cc creators? The more feedback I get, the better! 🙏

It's been a while since the last time I tried making face animations, so yesterday I came up with not one, not two, but three ideas for the Servo's eye! 🤖
Just to make it clear: these are not finished! Nothing to download here. More details under the cut in case you're curious.
-So first one is making it look like a screen. This is the most limited one, both in variations (only fully open and closed) and also compatibility, since it requires its own texture for the two states. This is just a quick test I put together in Photoshop, don't judge too much lol. I still like it tho, I find it pretty charming.
-Second one is just the average eyelids, but robotic and metallic. Nothing too special, but I think this is the most "maxis match" if you know what I mean? It looks like it fits the original design the most out of the three I made.
-And last but not least, I went for a camera shutter/diaphragm mechanism. This was by far the most challenging and problematic out of the three, especially since I had to mesh all of them from scratch. At first I felt kinda weird about it, but honestly the more I look at it, the more it grows on me.
All of them feature @simnopke 's Animated Servo Jaw. We'll see if I eventually end up finishing them, but for the time being, definitely get Nopke's default!
Also shoutouts to this guy's tutorial which greatly helped me understand how to make the shutter mesh. What a godsend 🙇♂️
Making morphs in Blender is so fun I swear. Anyway, that's just a bunch of new wips going to the folder I guess.

part 2 and the final part of ghoularcade's wishing tree request! ... with even more extras. the original ask was for @madlensims' starlit silk dress to be converted to ts2, top-only, but i got a bit carried away. have a top-only version; a fullbody version, paired with madlen's seer boots; and a pantless bottom version of the same outfit! three for the price of one request! ✨
they are all a maximum of 6k polys, with all morphs included. they will show up for teen-elder females. all original 7 swatches of the dress have been included and are categorised as everyday/formalwear with tf repo'd to af!

Not only does this method prevent the crunchiness of the desaturation, but it also preserves the "lightness" of the original colors.
So yeah, don't use desaturate ever! 😅
This is my response to this post by @goatskickin - a second version. That's the best way to desaturate hair texture or other stuff with alpha transparency ( thanks @paluding).
Desaturate or Hue/Saturation often makes textures crunchy.
You'll get best results if you create plain black layer and set blend mode to Color. Adjust Opacity as needed. In case of alpha stuff you also need to create Clipping mask.
When doing color actions on hair textures (or anything else) - if Hue/Saturation adjustment layer step does -83 Saturation (for example), instead you can do what I described above and set black layer Opacity to 83%.
Also, use SimPE to build textures as DXT5, do not rely on Bodyshop 'cuz it will always f*ck it up.

my first collab with wonderful @applewatersugar! we're both a big fan of @jius-sims's shoes, just... not quite the polycount that they come with. so piper was amazing and manually poly-reduced all 6 shoes from their children's shoes collection 04, while i've converted them to ts2, plus made fullbody outfits for them to go with! 🥰
there are 6 pantless bottoms for children in this download, plus 6 fullbody outfits, for toddlers and kids, to pair with them! i tried to keep them all unique, with tights and stockings as decoration 🥰 where it made sense some of them are unisex, but more details are under the cut. everything is low- to medium-poly. we hope to continue this collaboration, and eventually convert all of jius's shoes to ts2, so stay tuned!!

With the power of @paluding's tattooer, everything is possible! 😂 So this one was made with a mix of tattooering(?) and normal converting. For teens, adults, and elders, they have the appropriate morphs. They come in the original 10 colors, and you can choose if you want the other ages repo'd to the AF files, or not.

happy easter sunday! have a request on @leonheart27 on the ts2 community server! this is a conversion of @dannysdomain's glinda set, from their wizard of oz collection. never actually watched this movie, but loved the book as a kid, so i was happy to oblige! there are two things included: the crown, which is 1k polys, and the dress, which is about 9k.
the fullbody outfit is paired with @jius-sims' suede ballet flats 01, with all morphs. the crown is a head accessory, keep in mind it will not go with every hair, and clips with a ton! oh, and both have 4 swatches 🥰
