"Yer too cute Husky..." The spider says before slowly giving the other a kiss on the forehead between the eyes then getting up. "Mind gettin' me a quick strawberry margarita before ya go snooz-snoo handsome?"
Angel asked heading for the bar, climbing upon an stool. Angel leans against the bartop looking at Husk with the faintest blush.
He feels himself slouch into the affection as Angel rubbed the base of his ear. A reaction he had no control over and yet the way his eyes dilate says it’s not unwanted. His wings slack behind him, tail giving a quick flick as Angel spoke. And a low grumble answers with a pout on his mug.
“Yeah well.. someone’s gotta stay up for ya. Might as well be me I guess..” His gaze drops, casted to the side with a gentle huff. “I’m jus’ happy ya made it home..”

A sigh came as Angel lowered himself slightly to be more at Husk's height then reached for one of his ear's bases and pet him.
"Husky - I know ya n' plus I had this happen too much ta know what this is 'bout... ya were worried 'bout me, thank ya fer carin'." He said with a soft smile giggling though mainly to himself at thinking that Husk truly caring about him.
It happened quickly, impulsive as @overangeled walk into the hotel. Husk had been watching the clock as if doomsday was hitting at the strike of the hour. Angel was late. And while that wasn’t a huge surprise, it had left Husk feeling anxious. An emotion ever foreign for a sinner who didn’t let himself get attached.
“I uh..” he stammered, embarrassed by his actions though not willing to fully own up to it. “I’m fine. Just thought ya might need one..”
