The Lavender Haze video is out now. There is lots of lavender. There is lots of haze. There is my incredible costar Laith Ashley who I absolutely adored working with. This was the first video I wrote out of the 3 that have been released, and this one really helped me conceptualize the world and mood of Midnights, like a sultry sleepless 70’s fever dream. im incredibly tired of being a taylor swift fan. HELLO? i cant keep sleeping like this, im in school rn and im so tired and i literally just answered a question wrong. and my head is just going “its me, hi, im the problem, its me”. im so tired right now but incredibly happy, waking up (cause i do have to sleep at some point) to the new bonus tracks almost gave me a heart attack. so yeah, taylor, you proved it once again, YOURE INSANE

I feel like “Only twenty minutes to sleep, but you dream of some epiphany. Just one single glimpse of relief to make some sense of what you've seen” is saying that the person is dying and just before they die, they get these epiphanies and all this thoughts about how life works and about the things that really and truly matter in life. Like the person knows they’re dying, so they think differently or look at things in a different way, they think a lot about their life, and what they should’ve done or what they did wrong. They start thinking and thinking and thinking to have in a way some sort of conclusion of what their life was like.

the reason i feel in love with taylor's music was because her storytelling is amazingly written, in various songs i can seriously see somehow the story in my head and understand every emotion even without it being said. her talent for storytelling is and has always been amazing
