Am I the only person who thought that Lorelai and Chris needed to get married in season 7? I'm not saying I wanted it too last. That chapter needed to be closed. The best way to do that was to make that dream that Lorelai and Chris were both kind of holding onto and see that it wasn't meant to be. It had to blow up and end.

I'm a long hauler from Covid since April of 2020. Things have been strained since then but got progressively worse when house prices started going crazy and my landlord decided that he wanted to sell. We were pushed out of the him that my kids and I had been renting and fixing up for years now. We are now living in a hotel room where I work with my dog, birds and a cat. We are being charged 1200 a month for the room and live in a small tourist beach town so I can't pull my usually 80 to 100 hours every two weeks. Everything made is going towards the room and storage unit. I need to move us into an apartment or home soon and plan on moving a few towns over so to get away from their Dad who is head of maintenance at this place and has been being an abusive dick because he believes he has the power to have us thrown out and me fired. I am moving to the city that my sister's are living in since I can't leave the state. My state sucks but my health insurance is a necessity with everything going on. I also need to find a junker of a car that is an automatic. I broke my foot last April and even after almost a year I still can't drive long with my stick shift neon. If anyone could pls share this and even if you can only donate a small amount anything is better then nothing. I'm starting to get worried that I will end up stuck here and under the thumb of a guy I never want to have any power over my life.
