Hey! AriJay Here!
First off, I'd like to take this time to thank all my followers and mutuals for the continued support on not only the WH:ONOTW fan project but also for dealing with my on and off of Tumblr as of late. I'm gonna try to be more active on here as well as my other Social Media accounts.
Speaking of, I have a TikTok account now! If you would like to follow me there for more Neck of the Woods updates and artwork, give me a follow there!
Speaking of Neck of the Woods content, you're probably wondering, "Ari! What is in store for Jenny and the rest of the tenants?"
Well, I have a lot of ideas in the works for the silly puppets. From illustrations to collaborations with other WH fan characters, even explore different WH AUs. Maybe sprinkle in a few dark secrets along the way. 2024 is definitely going to be an awesome year! I can feel it!

Jenny's Signature
"Jenny! Ma petit songbird! I have a new scent I would like you to share with you today!" Corey Cologne said, sounding excited to share his latest perfume with his favorite customer.
"Oh? I wonder what lovely scent you have created today, Corey." Jenny Jamboree said with curiosity in her voice.
Corey held out his perfume bottle near her face. Not too close, but just enough for the scented mist to hit her button nose.
"Close your eyes and mouth as well. You're about to smell, oh, so swell!" Corey chimed as he spritzed Jenny.
The mist tickled her nose and face as she sniffed the air around her.
"Well, Jenny? What do you think?" Corey asked, anticipated to hear what his neighbor thinks about it.
The scent smelled very familiar to her. It was almost as if the scent that reminded her favorite things. The scent of the rainbow trees after an early morning rain shower, the scent of the wildflowers in full bloom on a sunny afternoon, and the smell of her favorite treat to eat. A hint of pomegranate.
"Oh, Corey! This is your absolute best scent yet! It makes me want to sing and dance about how much of a rocking jam it is!" Jenny said, followed by her singing a little ditty about the perfume.
"What do you call it?" Jenny said with wonder in her voice.
"I call it, "Jenny des Bois."That's is French for, "Jenny from the Woods." Corey said, followed by a wink from the charismatic gentle giant.
Jenny couldn't help but let out a small giggle at the perfume being named after her.
"Teehehehe! Oh, Corey... That Sounds like a Jam!"

Meet and Greet the Neighbors: Jenny Jamboree
We have uncovered a few scripts and character artwork about the wonderful new cast neighbors. Here is the leading lady herself, ready to greet you with a song from her and her musical companion!
Jenny Jamboree
"Jenny Jamboree is the most in tune with her neighbors in her Neck of the Woods. Maybe even one of the best singers around! With a voice as chipper as hers and her catchy tunes to get your groove on, you'd wanna sing along to all her songs! How could you not resist her melodious voice?"
Based on script pieces of the special, Jenny's personality is described as being the life of the party in her neighborhood. Her personality is seen as a very happy yet calm puppet who is always ready to lend a helping hand or be the voice of reason to her neighbors. She would have skits where she would teach her neighbors and veiwers about the basics of music, including rhythm and tone.
In some of the scripts found in the special, she is described as being the first to welcome Wally and the residents of Home to her neck of the woods by singing a song titled as, "My Home is Your Home." It also states that she is seen carrying around a portable radio she talks to named Song. Revealing Song to be a sentient object just like Home in the show. Song is described to help provide music for Jenny to create songs and talk through onomatopoeias(crackles, static, and buzzing).
Although Wally is the most prominent character in the series and is the main focus on marketing and advertising, Jenny would soon have her fair share of merchandise herself with one of them rumored to being her own record vinyl.

Meet and Greet the Neighbors
We have uncovered a few scripts and character artwork about the wonderful new cast neighbors. Meet the fearless explorer of the neighborhood who is always ready to explore the great outdoors.
Marco Monarch
"Hello, Hola, Bonjour! Ready to embark on an exciting exploration and see some new and exciting places? Marco Monarch is happy to be your fearless and colorful butterfly guide in the beautiful great outdoors. Whether near the woods or far beyond the rainbow tree hills, adventure is always out there, and Marco is there to seek it."
Marco was known for being quiet, the knowledgeable explorer around his neck of the woods. He was described as being very confident and sharing stories about his adventures outside of the neighborhood. He would sometimes show off his souvenirs to his and tell them interesting facts about where the object came from.
Having some scenes where he would reminisce about his travels to different locations, both fake and real. Based on some findings about Marco, he was a very unique puppet who would be seen in real-life locations around the world. Teaching veiwers about different countries greetings, cultures and various souvenirs from them.
Based on the script of the special, he found the neighbors of Home just by taking a different flying route than the one he normally takes. A big storm passes by making it unsafe for him to fly, causing him to get lost and make a crash landing at Howdy's Bodega. He introduces himself to Wally and gang while telling them about his own home in his neck of the woods, which sets off Wally and the residents to help Marco back home and meet the new neighbors.

Meet and Greet the Neighbors
We have uncovered a few scripts and character artwork about the wonderful new cast neighbors. Meet this side of the woods finest officer who is here to protect and prevent crime no matter the time!
Patty Patrol
"Patty Patrol is here to keep her neck of the woods safe. As the Woods finest police officer, she is ready to protect her neighborhood from any silly mischief or crime! Just until it's time for a quick coffee and doughnut break."
Patty was a police officer who patrolled around the Wood and made sure no silly crimes were happening, even though there hadn't been any major crimes that happened in the past as stated in pieces of script. In certain illustrations and scripts, she is depicted as being seen around the neighborhood greeting her neighbors while on the job or doing certain tasks to help out her neighbors if they have a problem. She was also seen with Terry as he is often the neighbor who causes the most mischief.
It is hinted that her segments would be at the end of the show. She would give the viewers a little psa on tips about how to stay safe in your neighborhood(Don't talk to strangers, don't stay out past bedtime, always look both ways before crossing the street, ect.)

Meet and Greet the Neighbors
We have uncovered a few scripts and character artwork about the wonderful new cast neighbors. Look out! This next neighbor is full of tricks both of wonder and mischief.
Terry Tricks
"Our Neck of the Woods most mischievous trickster around, Terry Tricks always has something up his sleeves. From showing off his latest card trick to pulling off pranks on his unsuspecting neighbors, you never know when or where he'll strike next. Watch out for his silly string bombs!"
Even though Terry Tricks was seen as the trickiest and sometimes obnoxious neighbor to have, he always had a certain charm to his tricks and pranks. He always boasted about becoming the greatest trickster around and performing his tricks to neighborhoods from all across the rainbow hills.
According to some scripts and illustrations about Terry, he wouldn't always be seen as the bad neighbor of the bunch. He would be described by Jenny as, "A party animal with his own way of getting out of a tricky problem." He is said to always try his best to stay out of trouble and be a good sport whenever he can. He loves to teach the neighbors and veiwers how to play certain games(hacky sack, hopscotch, capture the flag, red rover, ect.) that were popular back in the 70s.
Terry is often seen paired up with Patty most of the time as evidence that Patty would be keeping a close eye on Terry's mischievous behavior. Terry would often either convince her he's doing good by acting out a good deed, demonstrating one of his more "harmless" tricks to her, or distracting Ms. Patrol by her favorite pastry goods.

We have uncovered a few scripts and character artwork about the wonderful new cast neighbors. Let's visit a neighbor who has a pocket full of posies and takes time to stop to smell the roses.
Lillie Wallflower
"One of the sweetest, yet shy neighbors in Our Neck of the Woods, Lillie Wallflower, has a gentle green thumb when it comes to her gardening skills. Seen as the Woods most timid resident, she doesn't mind when her neighbors stop by and help her grow her confidence. After all, a flower needs her roots to help her grow!"
There is little information on Lillie, but she was described as being a farmer with a magical green touch. Growing some of the finest flowers, vegetables, and fruits around, she was made as the Woods go to gal for anything plant related. Some scripts of the special state that she has the ability to talk to certain plants. Taking care of them like they are family and having casual conversations with them.
It is said that Lillie was born in the neighborhood from a small seed that grew from a double rainbow after a huge lightning storm. Growing up to be the biggest and most fragrent flower out of her bunch. Her puppet was a live hand one that describes the petals being made of a light material and smelling just like that of a lily flower.

Paisley Peafowl
"Need a new outfit for a special occasion or just need something fashionable and functional? Paisley Peafowl can help you look your best with fun and groovy designs that no other neighborhood has ever seen! Creativity and inspiration have no limits for this fashionable peacock."
Paisley was seen in the special as the local tailor of the Woods who has a dream of becoming a world-famous fashion designer. He would create clothing and costumes for the wonderful cast of neighbors, even getting inspired to create wacky clothes with multiple uses. Paisley would have stated that he came from a part of the woods where the trees sparkle with glitter and feilds of soft rainbow cotton to make the softest colorful clothing around.
From what we have gathered about Paisley's puppet, it is rumored to be a walk around puppet that may have stood around 6 ft tall. A little shorter than Poppy's puppet and, unlike Poppy, had a live hand counterpart made for when he is seen inside Corey's shop or around the neighborhood. His segments usually consisted of him making clothing on his sewing machine. Teaching veiwers about pattern making, shapes, and colors.

Meet and Greet the Neighbors
We have uncovered a few scripts and character artwork about the wonderful new cast neighbors. Meet the smallest yet mightiest neighbor who can not only build up a house in a pinch but can fix himself a great big tasty sandwich!
Henry Handy
"The Woods' very own handyman, Henry Handy, is ready to take on any job no matter how big or small! This worker ant is ready to get to work on any project with the help of his handy dandy toolbox and his trusty mover groover van. He can fix up anything, from a drippy faucet to a squeaky door, even fixing himself a hearty sandwich or two."
Based on the script of the television special, Henry Handy was a hard-working little fella who carried his toolbox everywhere he went to help his fellow neighbors fix any problem they had. From being a plumber, electrician, mechanic, or even being a certified sandwich inspector, he can do it all! He's described as being smaller than his neighbors, even smaller than Wally, but just as strong as ten hercules bettles. Since he's on the move helping out his fellow neighbors, he lives in his trusty mover groover van and trailer instead of a regular home.
Henry's segment would focus on him pulling out a tool from his trusty toolbox to help with the shows topic of the day. No matter how obscure the tool is. A balloon, a whisk,a magnifying glass, a hammer, and a rubber duck were just a few of the items described that came out of his toolbox. One of the running gags in the special being how Handy's toolbox is so small yet holds a ton of items.
Just like Corey's Perfume Shop, he will receive compensation in the form of a snack after every job. His favorite snacks consist of fruit, jellies, sugar, and his favorite, a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Old scripts have confirmed that Henry had a part in building the homes of his neighbors, suggesting he is the oldest neighbor in the show.

Meet and Greet the Neighbors
We have uncovered a few scripts and character artwork about the wonderful new cast of neighbors. Meet the not so fishy but oh so very friendly shark who is always smelling their absolute best.
Corey Cologne
"Get ready with Corey Cologne! The Neck of the Woods finest perfumer and self care specialist. This gentle giant is friendliest whale shark around! Always ready to give his neighbors a little self care whenever they need to relax or look their best for showtime!"
Corey Cologne would have been the first ever shark puppet to be broadcast on the show. From Lilie's flowers to the sawdust from Henry's overalls, his great sense of smell is there to help him discover and make his next signature eau de parfume . His perfume shop was where he resided and sold an array of different perfumes, colognes, and body care items. This was also used to advertise some real-world products to kids and parents alike. His skit in the special showcased him, making a sugar scrub with Sally and Julie, hinting at segments where he would teach about good hygiene and self care
Corey would exchange his goods for compliments, songs, neighborly gossips, or unique accessories. It is noted in some scripts that Paisley is a regular and would be seen at the shop frequently. He would supply Corey with unique clothing item of their creation or compliments on how colorful his scales are in exchange for some colognes and conditioners. Jenny is also noted as being Corey's favorite customer. Providing him with flowers and items gathered from her serenades around the neighborhood for his products.
Illustrated materials showed that Corey's puppet was a walk-around puppet, typically to keep him in frame with his neighbors big and small.

The Welcome Home Restoration Project Team has uncovered something truly magical! Something wonderful! Something marvelously musical?
We have uncovered another Playfellow Workshop production that includes the cast of Welcome Home and a few new cast of colorful neighbors!
About Us
Welcome Home was an American children's television program created and produced by The Playfellow Workshop, which served as the Studios only production... However, new evidence has come to light in regards to another production that The Playfellow Workshop worked on.
Our Neck of the Woods was set to be introduced as a television movie special that had the residents of Home meeting Jenny and her uniquely fun and diverse neighborhood while getting into some funny shenanigans and hijinks. From the information that we have uncovered, it is believed that Our Neck of the Woods would have been its own spin-off series to Welcome Home. However, as the shows abrupt pull from television happened, so did the Neck of the Woods gang and their debut series.
Who knows what information will appear and what mysteries await beyond the rainbow trees of this neighborhood.
