[ 🌸 ] olive eyes drifted down to get another look at the beverage before bringing up the courage to take a sip. she allowed the liquid to swirl around the cup for a moment before finally raising the cup to her lips, taking a quick sip. she paused for a moment, letting the flavor sink in before turning her attention to the boy with a soft grin.

" it's actually pretty good! fruity, but really refreshing. "

without further ado, the young witch carefully set her cup down on the table before fetching a glass for her new companion. she got him the same amount as her before turning to offer him the glass. as he took it, she grabbed her own in response.

" here, try it! it's really tasty. with a name like 'punch' you'd think it wouldn't taste very good, huh? "

"YES!" Oliver throws his hands up in the air, pumped and READY to go. Why, the kid is already bouncing on the soles of his feet left and right. "You won't even know what hit ya!" And he's getting cocky. He won't underestimate her though! He can tell she is one tough person.

"Are there any rules? We can use any kind of tactic?"

"I suppose if your asking this much you've been out of it for awhile." Or just very excited to try and fight with someone else. Either way the servant would've felt rather bad for egging on someone and then just saying no. She was just hoping that this was going to be a learning experience for the both of them rather then empty words being thrown out...

"Very well." Mélusine said still in her usual courteous voice "The two of us will fight. Whoever immobilizes the other first will take the victory. Does that sound reasonable?"

He's got a lot to learn, of course, being that he's still a kid. he's tasted freedom and what the world is like with all of its Normalcy like a world with a sun, clear blue skies, and all of that stuff. There are a lot of things I wanna explore with Oliver so here we go!

Friends: Oliver has met a lot of people here since his arrival. He's met ALL kinds of people, really. A lot of them are acquaintances. Maybe he's met just a small handful of people he can call a friend, but I don't know. Anyway, Oliver is pretty easy to get along with, if anything a little different and there's nothing wrong with that. Oliver is the biggest hype boy, so you'll always have him in your corner hyping you up and supporting you.

Enemies: It's hard to make an enemy out of Oliver. Even if you're a monster out there terrorizing people and such, he only does what he does because it is part of his job. It's expected of him. He doesn't really hold any ill feelings toward monsters as he ALSO understands that it is what they do. Anyway, to make an enemy out of Oliver may be a challenging one, actually. Still, it's not impossible. Oliver considers the people he's gotten close to as his family and Oliver is a family boy. So, the quickest way to get on his shitlist is to mess with them.

Sparring Partner: Oliver LOVES sparring. he loves anything that gets his blood pumping like exercises and stuff. Whatever chance he gets, he's always looking for a sparring partner, so if you feel this is right up your character's ally, hit him up! He's always going to say yes to sparring.

Hunt: Oliver is good at tracking things down with his nose. He may be capped right now, but yeah! If you're having a pest problem whether it's monsters or just evil-doers or what have you, Oliver is your guy for hire. In his world, he was a monster hunter anyway, so hunting in general is his thing!

Mentor: There are maybe a small select few he'd call a mentor back home, but here in Spirale he hasn't come across any yet. Maybe Garry. Anyway, he's still a child. He is going to need help being guided and nurtured into a wonderful person. There's always something to learn and there's a shit ton that Oliver does not know about the world and overall just anything in general!

Found family: Garry is so far his found family. He found her all on his own and he's so happy to have them! As I've mentioned in I believe the beginning of (enemies section), Oliver is a family kid. He loves the idea of being surrounded by family whether blood or not. He'll do anything for those he deems super close to him.

Crush/Romance: This goes hand in hand with romance. THIS does not give an open invitation to be a creep. I will block on sight. Anyway, Oliver is a kid. he's 16 and he's going to have crushes here and there and he's going to one day meet someone where he wants to spend his entire life with and that's okay! When it comes to crushes or falling in love with someone, it can be a one-sided thing. Anyway, this isn't really something I'm focusing on. I just thought I'd throw this in there.

You are just a feral little rat but we love that about you. Keeping you around is like keeping a raccoon on a leash, you're definitely very friendly with your friends though. Oliver is wolfing down whatever was given to him. There's crumbs and sauces decorating his lips, but he doesn't seem to care or notice. He'll save it for later!

"Well," he begins once he knows he's free too, "I didn't know-know I was going to be out long." It's typical of Oliver to have a mission and then get distracted immediately. He's been out for far too long.

✂ How had this happened? Despite having waited in line for food for ten minutes, she was now sharing it with some dude who had shown up looking half starved. Ryuko had a rough exterior, but deep down she wasn't someone who would let someone in that condition wait for food.

She picked at her half of the fries while sitting at the picnic table she had finally settled at. "I only helped 'cause you looked pretty pathetic, y'know? I'm expecting you pay me back for like half of the meal. If you were gonna spend all day at the park, why didn't ya at least pack a snack?"

"Ah! I can wait!" Except she's already gotten her drink. If he was taught anything, it was that patience was rewarding. She could have taken as long as she'd like and he'd still wait, really. Regardless, she has her cup now and he's pouring the same kind in with a big smile on his face. "I've had my eyes set on this for a bit! What is it? I wonder what it tastes like."

He's never had a drink called punch before. In fact, when Corvus mentioned punch, he had thought she was talking about a fist fight of some sort!

[ 🌸 ] there were so many different kinds of drinks that were offered for the party; teas, sodas, bubble waters, regular water. fingers tapped the girl's chin as she studied the different bowls, not noticing the boy that was standing beside her, patiently waiting his turn.

"A TOTAL badass! You'll have to teach me some of those moves sometimes." Oliver's shoving a piece of sweet into his mouth. He...should learn to chew and swallow.

as if to add to the notion of sharing, dar's leaning over the table to grab himself a finger sandwich before pulling back. no time was wasted in that first bite, tongue quickly poking out to lap up a few stray crumbs. "may as well get somethin' before any other guests clear it out."

"a good change of pace from huntin' in the snowy woods, ain't it? not like i didn't have my fun with it, but i'm sure ya get my meanin'."

Under the readmore is what Oliver is wearing. He probably got help from SOMEONE with picking out his outfit! SO here we go.
