Maine photographer Laura Zamfirescu caught this sweet moment while walking the trails in her field a few days ago. She thinks the porcupette was very young because its quills were still soft. “Mom was trying to eat some clover but the youngster had some other plans (climb on her, have some milk, or just acting like a small kid ).” There’s nothing like the love and patience of a momma.
