fun fact - she's one of my oldest (surviving) ocs to date. i had her for like, 6 years at this point? she went through so many iterations of both her story and design, until i've finally introduced her as one of npcs in my veeery first campaign. maybe one day i'll draw more plot-related arts with her and the rest of the crew

so, my dearest bard Iris finally got their long-awaited cleric level last game, and they now have their holy symbol - The Scarf. it's a gift from certain someone and some symbol, but i can't go into details. for now.
The Star is their chosen tarot card, as it's meanings are inspiration, hope, and faith.
i've contemplated several different constellations to put in the night sky, but ultimately setter on Ursa Minor, because of the Polaris. it guides travelers, and as my friends suggested, it also ties in with The Star's meaning of faith, with those constellations being subject of many faiths worldwide.
as accuracy in the starry sky map's projection... i took some artistic liberties, such as distorting proportions to fit Ursa Major and putting Milky Way here, for pretty picture. but generally, the map here is pretty accurate to real image, and you can even see part of the Dragon constellation here!
i had a lot of fun painting it, and i hope you like it too :)
