Back to the 2000s!
Do you ever feel nostalgic listening to songs? Do you reminisce about the times when your classmates would gather around, bring out a guitar or any instrument, and start jamming to classic OPM songs? Or perhaps the times you would sit in front of the TV and watch the ‘Daily Top 10’ on MYX? Well, I do, and those were definitely the days when life seemed to be at its peak.
Now, let’s go down memory lane as I play a selection of OPM Hits from the 2000s that makes me feel nostalgic! Love songs, hip-hop, ballads, alternative music, rock—you name it!
Listening to these songs surely sums up THAT nostalgic feeling. Time flies, and while some things remain the same, unlike OPM, it just keeps getting better.
You, what’s your favorite Original Pinoy Music? Feel free to comment them down below!

My exposure to OPM songs is definitely the ones from the early to late 2010s era, it's something a lot of people resonate which led to it being a song that everyone can jam into. From mini singing sessions in the classrooms, birthday celebrations, and all the way to karaoke bars OPM is a genre of music that not only people can sing to but can also relate to on a day-to-day basis. There are times when people listen to it as a way of giving themselves hope that they are not alone in their struggle which is why OPM is soul music for a reason.
Here are the links to 2010s OPM songs I highly recommend you should check out:

Growing up, I've always been surrounded by a family full of Music lovers mostly playing OPM songs anytime of the day, Classic OPM songs of the 70's - 90's to be exact. From my mother to my Lola, to my Titas and Titos & not to mention most of my cousins. They all have that particular DVD players with huge speakers to play their choice of music and also those legendary cute sized Radios that surprisingly still made its way today.
So, every morning I would wake up not because of the sound of an alarm clock but instead with either of my family's or my neighbor's daily blasting sound of music. And me on the other hand, being exposed to these OPM songs every day, have been loving it subconsciously until it became a trait of mine to listen to these songs when doing something.
