The 1WPW DYNASTIC OPENWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP has been created to represent the legacy and prestige of One World in its near one year history. Whoever holds it will be representing the company not only in name, but in soul, in spirit. Whoever holds it will be in a class all of their own. And that's why, when this belt makes its debut at Chapter 12, one of the challengers have already been decided by Harold and myself... We feel no one is more deserving of such an honorable spot than Kazuchika Okada, the man who carried New Japan on his back and his waist for two years. His challenger will be decided Wednesday's main event, as all available superstars will be placed into a battle royal! The last one standing will face Okada to decide our inaugural champion!

As that overrated Hack Eric Bischoff used to say, “Controversy Creates Cash”. And there’s a certain amount of controversy reguarding the close to Chapter 1 last night, with the attack from Fenix, Pentagon, And Taya.

So here is what we’re gonna do.

The main event of Chapter 2 is up for debate. This Wednesday, in our main event, @blxckmassacre will team up with his Chapter 2 opponent, @englandsultimatewizard to take on @fenixtheking and @ceromideo. If Pentagón and Fenix win? The main event of Chapter 2 is now a Fatal Four way for the World Championship, Aleister Black vs Zack Sabre Jr vs Rey Fenix vs Pentagon Jr.

Ladies and Gentlemen; My name is Paul Heyman, and I am the owner and operator of One World Professional Wrestling- that’s Professional Wrestling, not “Sports Entertainment”- a.k.a Your boss, and I would like to take the time right now to introduce to you the One World Pro Wrestling World Championship belt. It has been certified a World Championship, and will be held in the prestige of the WWE, NWA, and IWGP Heavyweight Championships. In the year of our lord, 2018, we have seen time in and time out that women’s professional wrestling is on the same level as men’s professional wrestling, so it’s about time that we had a championship and a promotion that treats it as such. So it is with great honor that I announce that our World Championship is eligible to be held by both our male and female competitors here in One World Pro Wrestling. We will have one world champion. One top guy at a time. And that top guy very well may be a top girl at times. Now I know what you’re asking yourself. “Mr. Heyman, how do I get my hands on such a prestigious title?” Well I am glad that you asked. At Chapter 1, 1WPW’s inaugural Pay-Per-View event, the main event will be a 7-Person Elimination Match, that I am dubbing now as the Magnificent 7. The winner of that match will be crowned as the very first One World Professional Wrestling World Champion. In the lead up to the show, which, by the way, will be taking place at the historic Cow Palace, there will be seven qualifying matches taking place. Some male vs male. Some female vs female. Some male vs female. The seven winners of those matches will be our Magnificent 7. I will announce our other championships at a later time. For now- you all have this to salivate over.
