Imagine being Ash’s twin sister, and you find out that Phil is your soulmate.
“No.” You glared at Phil who was at the other side of the room and staring at you in amazement and wonder.
Ash chuckled while Poppy pouted. “But you’re his soulmate, Y/N! Phil isn’t a bad guy, you know.”
You gave her a deadpanned stare. “I refuse to even be involved with someone so utterly human like. Plus, he wants nothing to do with this world or our kind. Someone like that will never mean anything to me.”
“There’s nothing wrong with being human like or not wanting to be involved in a world that can literally get you killed.” Poppy’s cheeks were puffed out as she began to glare at you. “Just give it a chance. If Ash could do it, who is literally the male version of yourself, then you can at least try.”
I frowned as her insistence was breaking through my resolve. After a few moments of staring at each other, I sighed. “Fine, but if this goes wrong I’m kidnapping you and taking you somewhere that’s much worse than vegas.”
With a wink in her direction you started walking towards the very subject of your discussion. When you got near him, you grabbed the sleeve of his shirt and forced him to sit at a table with you.
“Your sister is pestering me to talk to you and give you a chance.” You crossed your arms and legs. “So, let’s start from the beginning: I’m Y/N Redfern, and your soulmate apparently.”
“Philip North, but I prefer Phil.” He smiled, but then did a double take. “Wait, did you say Redfern?”
You picked up a strawberry from the tray of a waiter walking by. “Yup. I believe you’ve met my twin brother, Ash.”
You lightly laughed as his face turned a little pale. You would have fun teasing him, if nothing else.

So on every anniversary of the day they met, Ash gave her a little of his blood. Not enough to change her, but enough so she could see the stars, like they were supposed to be seen.
